Hi Boo - Mr. Pickles here
to answer your question, my original name was pineapple. I kept that stupid name for 2-1/2 years. then my mom at the time said i was getting too "beaky" with the toddler - silly - she didn't realize i was going into season. she relinquished me to the feathered sanctuary in holtwood, pa. my present (and permanent) mom volunteers there and as soon as we locked eyes, it was instant love. mom immediately put in the adoption request papers and within the week I was adopted. she studied me constantly and decided I looked like a pickle and decided I needed a title to go with the name, so she called me Mr. Pickles. I like it. mom is always kissing me and skritching my head. I know I found my permanent home. squawk at ya later. Mr. PicklesCome visit me, Chi-Chi Reba, Largo Stetson, Skippi-Doodle, Mr. Pickles & Buzz.

Nice to meet you too. Mom says the Quakers rule. She says we are very smart (like a big bird) but easy to handle. Mom keeps telling me that I'm the adult. It's funny. That's cool that you have a colony of Quakers in Portland, OR. There are also colonies in Chicago, IL and Brooklyn, NY. Jewels
Yes, our names are alike and we look alike. Baths and playing is so fun. My Mom had all these toys that she was saving for Jewels (but he doesn't play with any of them) and now they are all mine. I play with everyday and she changes them every few weeks. Jewels just wants to be with Mom and Dad and doesn't care about toys. How can you not care about toys!! Talk to you soon.
