Hi from another CNY Senegal!
What a pretty bird you are... but then we Sennies are all gorgeous, right? And I like the way you sneaked your Mom into your picture. She's pretty too! Now that it's warm and sunny, I love going outside in my flight suit. The winter lasts way too long here. I came all the way from a rescue in Connecticut, and the winters were long there too. The last big snowstorm we had in Syracuse caused our power to go out, and my Mom carried me around all day inside her sweatshirt to keep me warm, and gave me lots of hugs and kisses... I was sorry when the power came back on! Aren't we lucky that we have kind people around to appreciate how wonderful we are? I am happy to meet you!Come visit me, Turtle Bird.

Hi Pumpkin! Yeah...my mom is pretty silly. She thinks she's set on Wisdom for the grey's name but she's promised that before so she's reluctant to promise that again! LOL! Things are okay between me and Wisdom as long as he stays away from me and my territory! LOL! Mom is convinced that with gentle encouragement and time we'll become friends. She doesn't know how stubborn I can be!!!! We had a great breakfast this morning! Fresh papaya, kiwi, grapes, green beans and kidney beans! Mmmmmmmmmm! I wasn't big on the papaya but Wisdom ate all the papaya first thing. He loves it! Mom bought all kinds of great fresh fruits and veggies for us this week. I can't wait for the mango to be ripe! Mango is my second favorite behind grapes. What's new with you? Christina, Brampton, Ont., AE.

Any human who knows and understands the beauty of having a feathered friend in their life is lucky. Other ppl think I am lucky because my mum spoils me SO much. But she always says she is the lucky one, because I am such a wonderful friend (even if sometimes I disobey her, or choose to just not listen). She loves me anyway :)Come visit me, Fido.

Our dog doesn't like people blowing on her either. The mean people that left her to die used to blow pot smoke in her face. She gets scared easy. It makes me sad when people are so mean to animals. ~Snuggles michelle, rochester, IN.

I'm getting a new sibbling!
My mom and dad just told me I'm going to be a big sister! My new buddy's name will be Rosie and she was just born last night! I just saw a picture of her and she's pretty ok for being a cockatoo. We'll see...I'll keep you all posted.
Thanks guys for voting for me too! Boy who would have thought just a few short weeks ago I didn't have a home and now I have a whole family! Thanks Tiki my forever home is great, and I'm glad your finally happy too. We may be small but we know what we like and how to get what we want....And just like you I wanted my mommy too. Welcome to the channel! I'm a Meyer's Parrot, which is a cousin (and in the same family) of the Senegal. Glad to hear you have a wonderful forever home. This is my 3rd home...and I'm sure glad it's the forever kind! I picked my mom out instead of the other way around. The bird store that I was living at said that I didn't like ANYBODY! I had a Senegal that past away...they are such the sweetest birds. When i was picked by my Senegal he kept on bringing all his toys to the front of the cage and millet for me to see, Then he would rub his head along the glass, lol I think its so cute that yours said kiss me baby!
