Hooray for the 'TIEL TERRORS!!
Pepper! Was today's game exciting or what! I can say that because we won, of course, but still, it was a real nail-biter to the end. Aren't they all, right? Anyway, it was great getting to play ball with you again and I'm looking forward to our next game when hopefully we'll do the same thing; TERRORIZE the field! (Mom always laughs when I say stuff like that because I'm so not a terrorizing kind. She should see me on the field, right? Ha ha ha.)

Have a good one, Pepper and thanks for playing some great ball. You had some super hits and of course had right field covered like Al Kaline! The 'tiel team's lucky to have you out there.

Wasn't practice greyt? I love those machines. I think they will help a lot. It looks like we are ready.
The parronts were at a funeral home Fri, then the funeral Sat. so mom was not able to type for me. Mikey and Kacey picked me up on a MOTORCYCLE. That was a fun ride.
Are my feather all clean? Cookie, and terrors put CHERRY JELLO in the water at the KB water park. I turned PINK.
I was so happy to see you at practice. Lets watch some TV, OR go to the water park at the KB and then snuggle in for a movie tonight. I don't know whats playing...

Hello Pepper~
I hope you are having a wonderful day. I've got the gardeners here to watch. They are outside my window mowing the lawns! Pretty soon Mandy will be woofing to go out just because she likes to smell the fresh cut grass! Mom takes her for a walk everyday and Mandy has decided she likes to walk down to the Starbucks. Do you suppose it's the scones they sell? I always share my scones with her so maybe she figured she just go down there and get us some! I like the way she thinks!!

Mom already went to the market before I even got up! The store is open 24 hours a day. It's less crowded early in the mornings but mom has to put up with freight on the floor and the floor scrubber being used. Since she works nights at a store, she is use to that stuff.
She got me some pecans so I'm looking forward to my snack! I'll be having apples and pecans today! Yum!

I'll be supervising the chores later on and letting mom know how she should do stuff! We all know our parronts would be lost without us!!

Pearl& Silver flew by and asked I tell you about the team practice Saturday. The times are on the tiel field page. Mom hasn't taken me there yet. Mom has a funeral in Detroit Saturday and is not sure WHEN she will be getting to BC. (Its Dad's godmother, who is also his aunt, she was 91 or so) We enjoyed SUN today.

did you know that that rosy glow that is so coveted by shoppers of fresh meat products at the grocery store is brought about by feeding farm animals arsenic ,which is stored in the meat that is then consumed by everyone?

the world hunger problem could be resolved in one day by eating insects which are high in protein and low in fat and cholesterol. insects breed rapidly and require little space to breed in. this would end the harvesting of less sustainable protein sources and
the poisoning of our earth with all the horrific pesticides, creating a much healthier planet earth and food source for consumtion. crickets actually taste like popcorn and are much better to eat than the mysterious macdonalds chicken nuggets

i myself just happen to love the crunchy taste of crickets.

Did you make it to practice? I got there for the FOOD.
With Polly on the floor of her cage so much, one of my usual landing spots(on the end table the cage sits on, right in FRONT of the cage) is kind of hazardous. Changes.
G'pa is doing better, mom may actually be home tomorrow. BUT it is colder. The A/C is off and the furnace is back on. Possible frost tomorrow night and definitely on Sunday night.

once again mom has really gotten behind on my blogging. on top of dad having sjogrens disease and menieres disease he has now been diagnosed with positional vertigo which means no matter how he turns his head be becomes violently dizzy. he has mom running in circles. then yesterday mom either had food poisoning or a intestinal virus and brother was she ever sick. she is feeling better but dad is not. on Saturday morning my frother is graduating from college with high honors. mom and dad are very proud of him but dad is too sick to go. this is a kid who lived on the street for 3 years and he has really straightened his life out.
mom planted some flowers today so i got to go outside for about 2 hours. whoo hoo!

We tied with Phoenix yesterday as the warmest cities in the US! COOL! That is a first!! I can also just about
guarantee it will be the only time that happens! Usually our weather records tend to be for the wetest place in the US! Today it is back to what May usually looks like up here! We are back to flannel shirt weather!

Zippy comes to perch with him. Polly is doing better, but still a bit slow, so I got a pellet ALMOST to my cage. I lost it, and mom took it. I was stuck in the cage cause Polly was perching in the cage door today.
Zippy starts preening Pepper around his beak knowing those are tricky.

Right to my mitt! You'll make getting those OUTS easy!

I know what you mean about missing baseball last year. The summer seemed so long with no gatherings at the stadium or time to hang out with the team. I was really excited when I heard it was going to be back this year. I bet you're happy to be playing on the same team as Zippy. That would make it all the more special, having a gal~pal in the dugout with you.

It was so warm here today, the window in my room's been open since morning. I hope it gets closed at bedtime though because I don't think I'd be able to sleep with the breeze constantly rustling the paper on the floor.

Grover here with a HELLO! for a fellow 'Tiel Terror teammate. How's things been with you? For me, they've been good. I've spent much of the winter sitting on a couple of fake eggs. My gal Gonzo, she's sure they'll eventually hatch so I humor her and stay with the project, even if it is hopeless. In the next couple of days it should be warm enough of us 'Tiels to move to the Bird Barn for the season and I'm told there won't be any nest boxes out there, that I'm supposed to get off my duff and get some exercise. That'll be just in time for baseball so that'll be good.

Looking forward to playing baseball with you here in a couple of weeks. In preparation for that, here's a throw from first back out to you in right field.

Mom made pancakes for dinner so that was super special too. I just love pancakes! Now if I could just get her to go to Starbucks and nab me a crannberry orange scone the day would be perfect!hahahahahaha

It is hard when all the skins leave and there is no Polly.
With Polly taking most of mom's attention today, I'm JAILED. I am so glad you are with me. One of the times Polly scaled up the cage was when I decided to try for a Polly pellet from the top of her cage. I'm at the spiky stage of the moult and sometimes wanting attention, and other times wanting to be left alone. But you always know how to treat me.

I hope you are having a lovely day too! I'm being qiet today. Yesterday was a different story! Mom and I did get our playtime this morning! Merlin the cat went back to bed right after his breakfast so I didn't have to worry about him getting in the way. It was lots of fun until I tried climbing down the back of the computer chair again! I don't know why I can't run around the floor but I keep being told it's a no no! Bummer!

Mom had to run Polly to the vet. And guess WHAT? Polly had an egg inside. The vet knocked her out and had to break the egg. We are waiting for the rest of the shell to come out.

areas of the rainforest that have been clear cut are turning into desert because there is very little topsoil and the plants growing are what create the moisture that turns to rain and falls daily. they have a hard time even farming because of this. solar power is the only safe way to go. the state of arizona alone could power all of the united states with solar power. once it is gone it will be gone forever. the deserts in africa were created by the romans who destroyed everything in their path and they are still deserts today. all the gas and oil being extracted by fracking is going to china not the us.

the Ecuadorian president is planning on auctioning off 10,000,000 acres of amazon rainforest to the gas and drilling fracking companies partly due to the governor of our state of pennsylvania who is currently destrying our state of pa and who could care less about preserving the rainforest and main motivation is pure greed. plus all the gas and oil extracted by this process is being sold to China fracking practices use highly poisonous cocktails of arsenic and radioactive materials in the fracking of the earths infrastructure in order to crack it. it will devastate everything around it also and poison all water forever plus any birds, animals or people that drink it.

I do hope you are having a wonderful day! I'm doing just fine. Not much going on around here today. Dad has been cleaning out the storage room to make it into a workshop so mom and I have lots of stuff to find a place for. Mom says some of it can just be sent off to goodwill but it will be interesting to see where she is going to put the rest of it! Mom says that if we haven't used it for a while, it is really time to get rid of it. You can tell that mom doesn't like clutter!
I'm going to hang out in the play cage and supervise the job! I'm very good at supervising and I like to shout out lots of suggestions too!!

Mom hasn't taken dictation the last couple days due to t'storms. The line of storms that caused a tornado watch decided to split and go around Lansing, so it has been quiet for a couple hours.

I hope the day is going well!
We heard the most awesome story this morning about people from all over the country jumping on to the internet and ordering pizza for all the police and firefighters out there investigating the bombing in Boston. Just awesome! Pizza Time deliver over 1500 pizzas! Very cool indeed!
Mom went out to the market this morning so I'm running really late today! Yesterday I lost power. It wasn't anything bad just dad turning it off so he could put a new light fixture in the storage room. Today I have been getting squawked! All I know is that this is all interfering with my blogging time! I really need to sit down with the parronts and explain the facts of a parrots life and the importance of having a puter available whenever I want it!! I'll let you know how it all goes!

just dropping by to say hi!.
moms neighbor had an estate sale today. mom never met her but went to the sale and found out the woman had cancer and died in her house. she had been an artist and the house was full of nude painting of herself and lots of art deco pictures and paintings of cats. by the time mom made it to the sale all the good things had disappeared. it made mom want to come home and get rid of everything in the house so that when she dies people wont be picking through it. she had tons of art supplies and easels and paint and brushes. one giant room was her art studio. as one man was leaving with a chair someone shouted to him that they thought the lady had died in that chair and the man replied thats ok i like ghosts and everyone laughed.
after that mom cleaned all the spider webs off the front porch then cleaned off all the furniture and cushions. at least now it doesnt look like a haunted house.

Please forgive me. Mom was not on BC at all yesterday. Too many things going on. She claims she has yet to learn to bi-locate.
Dad was out of town so last week we had dark, quiet sleep time.
I am molting, mom says I'm dripping feathers. It is a good thing that she is cleaning my cage at night. 20+feathers are on the cage bottom.
Lets just perch and relax before the next set of t'storms.

I hope your day is going great! It's pretty quiet around here. Mom and I are watching the last Harry Potter movie! It's very exciting but very sad too!
It's still cool and rainy here. It got warm for a few days and then went back to being cold again. That is why we had the avalanches up in the mountains. They do avalanche control all the time up there but they had no warning for these avalanches. At least it's closed down now so everyone will be safe.

Hello Pepper
Today I flew to the UHF antennae and got the newspaper moved. Soon I will be able to get to the wire. (SHHH, dad hasn't noticed yet)
Its gotten cold again, tomorrow we might see snowflakes, BUT mom says there were worms on the sidewalk.
*Sigh* I'm molting and I want comfort.

as Pepper preens her. Thank you Pepper, that feels so goooood.
Too bad mom has figured out you & Angel like to get into mischief. No luck on the antennae wire, Dad put up a sheet of newspaper in the UHF loop. that makes the wire difficult to reach.
I've been chasing mom trying to get into her meals, tho'. Remember my spa is running again.
