Good After noon How are you on this Hot Day?
My name is Jazz and I'm a Quaker Parrot I talk alot and love to go for car rides with my family and I got to go to that new PetsMart in Papillion that was cool but I was kinda of scared of all the dogs but I rode on my Dad's shoulder and my mom was there to so I was safe oh ya my wings are clipped so I can not fly that way I get to go outside and ride around on their shoulders. I love to take showers too they make me feel good and clean. I love to eat Zupreem Fruit Bend Pellets and the Garden ones to. I like fresh Veggis corn on the cob is the best and I like fresh fruit. I like it when mom cooks us Pasta and puts sauce on it. I do not like carrots I will pick them out of my dish mom has even tryed putting seed on top and I still find the carrots and through thme out. I will have to try that Peanut Butter on Celery I don't think I will try the ants yuk Well we live in Bellevue too. Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams. 'cause you look like me. I'm not really fond of showers. That's probably because I led a sheltered life the first 2 years - they only took me out of my cage to clean it.
I'll have to give the ants treat a try.

From one Ekkie to another.
Does your Ekkie act a little ditzy compared to say a congo african grey and macaw... Hazel, our Ekkie vos. female acts a bit off in her own little world sometimes. She is really laid back. I have read that when Ekkie's are scared they do not act like other birdes by responding, but instead freeze. She never seems to freeze she is just layed back..Come visit me, Hazel & Jovial.
