 It all started with a pigeon I found and nursed back to health. I released it back into the wild but was sad because I missed it. I ended up getting a parakeet but Harriette did't want anything to do with me like the pigeon. Buckbeak (the pigeon) would follow me from room to room, ask for baths, etc. and I wanted that kind of interaction. So I found a partner for my parakeet (called Ozzy) so that Harriette had a friend and went looking for a new bird friend. That's how Morgan came into my life. She was just a baby and just weening off formula. I was able to bring her home and weened her to regular foods myself. She's been my pal ever since. She's the first one I see in the mornings and when I go to bed. Definitely a little bird with lots of attitude and spunk.... |

Hi Morgan
Quakers are my Mom's favorite bird.She says they are so smart and cute,too.Well,we already knew that didn't we!
I can whistle a tune. My wife Baby Dirl(coz I can't say Baby Girl) she barks like a dog and she can say Grampa.
She is much younger than me. She will learn more words.

Thanks for stopping by and here's a vote for you. I'm not so sure about Jewels. It doesn't feel like he is going to warm up to me. I hope he will someday. It would be nice. Mom and Dad have to completely supervise us when we are together. I want to go after Boo Boo and Boo Boo wants to go after me. It will all work out one way or another.

Thanks for coming by for a visit. Mom has been pretty busy, so I've had a hard time getting her to sign on the computer. I know I like to hang out with Mom too before work.
I don't know about me and Jewels. He lets me get a little closer but Mom doesn't trust him with me, so she watches very carefully. Maybe someday he'll decide he likes me. Talk to you soon. Great to squak with you again. Thank you for the compliment. I'm blushing. True definitely true. My Mom just loves Quakers. She has read where Quakers get a bad wrap for being noisy. Not so with me. I'm a very quiet Quaker and when I talk I whisper. I can say all these words but you have to be up close to actually hear them. Mom says it's one of quirks. Talk to you soon. My Mom has had me for almost 8 years and she says that Quakers definitely rule and are full of attitude. She also says we are incredibly intelligent birds but much easier to handle than the large birds. Fly by for a visit and say hello.
