WoW...our birthdays are in the same month.
I was born November 3. Do you still cry for hand feedings? What age were you when you came home? Do you talk at all? Were you dna sexed? Sorry, mom asked me to ask these questions. Hi Scarlett!
Mom says I have to stay in may cage when she vacuums just in case she scares me. I am still not sure if I like the vacuum but I don't growl at it...just my dad. I love to growl at my dad even thought mom says it is not nice. he he he. You must be close to my age. I am 4 1/2 months old. If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams. Welcome Scarlett
So nice to have you aboard on Bird Channel. I'm so glad you got Scarlett from a breeder and not a pet store. It's a much better situation for you and also Scarlett. You won't start out with any bad habits. You should read Toby's story I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I already voted this morning for another Timneh but my next vote tomorrow will be for SCARLETT. Hopefully you'll return the favor. Toby loves my vacuum cleaner. He looks at it like it's some strange large bird that make a lot of noise. So many Timneh owners say that the vacuum cleaner scares them. I guess that I started vacuuming around Toby's cages at home and at work so it never scared him. I haven't even heard Toby growl as of yet. I'm sure at some point I'll hear it. I'm sure your very happy about Scarlett's entrance into you life. I picked up Toby on July 22nd 2006.
