I'm Really Sorry...
Poor Hurcules. He's passed on to The Rainbow Bridge, but he's in a good place. My bird, Jolie Madison, died on October 27, 2007 at the age of one. I miss her so much. She was the greatest bird ever. I'm sure that Jolie will open her wings and be friends with Hurcules.N, N, SD.

Hi Herc, from Magoo!
Hercules, you are lucky to have someone that loves you. I know I'm the millionth bird that's told you that, but you are! I'm a fan of rescue birds and if my mom didn't have a husband, I'm sure our living room would have no furniture - only bird cages with birds big and small - feathers or no feathers. There is a rescue in WI called Center for Avian Rehab and Education (C.A.R.E.). Mom goes out of her way to take me there for wings and nail clips, just so she can visit all the rescued birds. Mom always said that if she ever got a hold of lots of extra money, 50% of it would go towards this center. They do so much. Well Herc, we're all hoping your life is better at your new home and that you are safe and sound. Here's a vote for you. I can't see you, but I know you're beautiful!Come visit me, Magoo.

It sure sounds like you found yourself a wonderful home now. Sixty-three, you are older than my mom. Mom once had a birdie who plucked all his feathers. She showed him lots of love and fed him right foods and after about a year he stopped plucking and all his feathers came back beautiful. You are a beautiful birdie even without feathers. 63 years old! We birds and humans that are owned by birds really look up to the few older birds that are on here, we think that is really cool! Sorry to hear you are a plucker (I am too). Right now I have an e-collar on to try and get me to stop. We'll see if it works. If not, I'll just go back to plucking again! My mom loves me even though I pluck...thank goodness! I'm glad your mom adopted you. Sometimes we don't look too lovable when we have issues. It takes a very special person to realize that.
