 My papa brought me to the petstore to look at lovebirds and then I saw a Sun Counre , he was nice but right next to him was a bright green, Green Cheek Conure. I looked at him and knew he was perfect, he was so cute I loved him already. I asked for him instead and then the worker told us about Conures, they sounded great. I begged and we finally bought him! I was so happy to bring him home that day. I named him Sunny and I played with him all day!
I love Sunny so much and he is the perfect bird for me!
It was love at first sight when we met!. |

I am a Green-Cheeked Conure from west warwick, RI.
 I mostly call him Baby Sunny or Sunny Baby and I also call him my little baby Sunny.

Fruits: Bananas, papaya, mango, Ect.
Veggies: Carrots, Corn
Others: Fruit and veggie pellets and peanuts.
 On people shoulders, in their hair, sleeping in my hidey hut, on my playground, on my ladder, on the botton of my cage picking the corncob and many more places.
 Sunny hates the vaccum and being left alone!
 I love my mommy so much!She spoils me and buys me toys but the most important thing is that she loves and cares about me. That is all a birdie could ever ask for, a loving and caring mommy. I couldn't have asked for anything else , my mommy is all I ever wanted and dreamed of. She is perfect and I love her so much and I know she loves me too!

Punkin here to asking your support of my quest to be BOTM. All month I'm sharing what flowers we birds CAN EAT
Here's todays flowers:
English Daisy (Bellis perennis) - The flowers have a mildly bitter taste and are most commonly used for their looks than their flavor. The petals are used as a garnish and in salads.
Gladiolus (Gladiolus spp) - Flowers (anthers removed) have a nondescript flavor (taste vaguely like lettuce) but make lovely receptacles for sweet or savory spreads or mousses. Toss individual petals in salads. It can also be cooked like a day lily.
For all you I didn't get to tell yesterday....Bird is doing real good. She's got about 80% use of her right foot as well now. We are so excited about that because she's soon going to be able to go to her new home!!
We had a great day with mom yesterday and get to again today because we're getting some snow flurries today. Howdy twin!
Hello there my twin bird!
WOW - what a crazy couple months it has been for me! I haven't been on this site in a couple of months because we have been so busy moving. We moved from Iowa to Florida and my mom said I was great on the road trip. I ate, slept in my blue hammock, took baths in my water bowl and sang my little birdie heart out every time I heard a Taylor Swift song. I also learned how to say "hey baby bird" :)
If you have some time, check out my birdie scrapbook (on the right-hand side of my profile)...my mom just uploaded new pictures. It shows my two of my very favorite spots: my shower perch and my new "river view" from my new house in Florida!
