i try EVERYTHING, but i seem to like my millet and avi-cakes best...though the FAV treat are those orange yogurt covered treats!

real tree branch perch, mommy's lap or arm...loves to nestle close to my big fluffy ball or my stuffed rabbit! like to look out the bathroom window while mommy gets ready in the morning!

I made it to 4,000 votes! Thank you soo much for visiting me all the time and voting for me everyday :) (My) Aunt Peatree left the big vote! Thank you!
So how are you doing? It was so cold outside this morning! The thermometer said it was -13° F at around 6:45am, and then when Mom went outside to take care of the animals at 8:00am, it was "only" -8° F, but that's still cold! Though Mom says it didn't feel that bad, since the sun was shining. The temp is now up to 20°+ F, and even thought that's below freezing, things are melting because of the sun!
Mom let me out this morning but I didn't really feel like playing. She made me up a plate of shredded carrot and apple, but I didn't eat much of it. And she tried to play with me, but I didn't want to play! hehe. She's gonna try again later. Maybe I'm not a morning-bird. Hehe.

I wanted to give you a BIG THANK YOU for helping me get BOTD today--how exciting!!!!!

Mom gave me a new treat today--BLUEBERRIES! She said it was to celebrate my special day. She also said I looked cute with the blue all over my beak and called me "blueberry beak"!

Thank you so much for coming by to congratulate me for getting BOTD. How it happened I ain’t got no clue. Mom checked my page and there was not one blog for me yesterday, so she decided it was a conspiracy against her. You see, with Zak up for BOTM and her and dad trying to sell the house, she is as busy as a bee, and behind in Zak’s blogs so why not give her more to do. LOL As she is typing this, after a great night of dancing, or so she told me, she is laughing so hard her eyes are watering. Of course, I had to do without the crown thing because we had a baseball game today but that’s okay – I told Mom that I am spending the night at the castle but I want HER to type for me because afterall she is my Mom, and… Floop even gave me the keys to the carriage to ride around the grounds for a while. It was a good way to spend the better part of the evening, before coming in to finish up my thank yous.

What a day! I hardly had the sleep out of my eyes this morning when mom came in and was making all these squealy human noises (you know what I mean) and smiling and all excited as she told me that I had won botd! What a surprise! She gave me some nutriberries and let me put it this way, I was awake in a hurry! LOL! I got slamdunked 2 days in a row! Wow! And a nice day in the castle, too! Thank you for congratulating me for botd:) What a nice surprise today was;) My crop is just bulging from the millet and goodies, but I am loving it!

I am sorry for the generic blog, but our parakeet Ricky passed away tonight too, he was not feeling well today, so everything was hectic in our house. So again I am very sorry to do the copy and paste option tonight, but mom is having a tough time right now, so thank you for the understanding, you all are great!

Honestly it feels hotter than that. Daddie had to set the air at 73. He usually keeps it around 76-77. He said he's still hot. Fly by and chatter anytime. Your always welcome on my perch. V4u,lol

Today's bird record is for the tallest flying bird, cranes. "The largest cranes can be almost 6 ft. 6 in. tall."

I hope it is making you happy :> First of all, Amelia wants to thank you guys again for your support :> She loved spending time with you! Anyways, my name is Colbie and I am the sweet one like Haycia...and little bit like Ruthy. We hang out a lot. I do sometimes hang out around Amelia, but she is a little stinker when it comes to tricks. But us O.W.A know when its coming. There, thats a little about my personality, mellow, and playful..in a way :> ~~~~ Wanna hear something weird? This morning, mom went to the pet store....and she came home looking like she wanted to buy another bird..I think we have ENOUGH!! Don't you think?
