 I had been heart broken for a couple of years after moving and having to find a home for my beloved dog. I had been thinking of getting a Green Cheek Conure since they make great apartment birds, so my boyfriends mother took me to Birdcrazy in San Diego. After telling the owner my situation, he said they had just the bird for me. They brought out Suzie, a 5yr.old Cinnamon Green Cheek Conure from the back of the store and told me the story about how Suzies owner was very upset that she could not keep her, due to the fact that she was caring for her husband who was sick with cancer, she knew Suzie would not get the attention she needed. I knew Suzie and I needed each other and it was meant to be. We have been best friends ever since!. |
