 My favorite Aunt in Indiana heard about Mikey. His previous owner was an aquaintence of my cousins. She needed to find a new home for Mikey because she was getting a divorce and needed to find a home for him asap because she needed to move right away. Her husband was an abuser and made Mikey stay in the basement. Needless to say he was neglected and had started to pluck himself. He wasn't in great shape when my Aunt picked him up but started to look better before I had a chance to go and pick him up.His cage was filthy when my Aunt picked him up. She had too pressure wash the cage. He is looking good now. We got a hold of him before he plucked himself too bad. He has some bald spots but they are'nt too bad.. |

What a story!!Maybe someone should lock him in the basement!!! You are so beautiful but we love TOOS here. Gracie is a sulfur crested, peaches a goffin. Dazz is our hahns macaw ( it only toook 3 years for mom to be able to hold him. so patience pays off!!) Martha is our cockatiel.

Hi Mikey! I'm Daisy, a Goffin's 'too from Phoenix. I sure enjjoyed reading a happy end to your story. I'm very glad you found a loving home. With time, I'm sure you'll learn to trust these people. And it looks like you have a bunch of new friends at this place.
I like eating peas, corn, apples. I'll flip over backwards to avoid a carrot, though. Eww! Sometimes I get a small piece of hamburger or white chicken, but not too much cause it might unbalance my digestion.

God sent you an angel
You are sooo pretty, we are so glad you have a new loving home. we are gettting a sulfer crested too next week. her mommy can not care for her any more as she is disabeld and has to part with a few of her feathered babies. she want our mommy to have her as she can seee we are loved so much. we are all sending you a kiss and give your mommy a big one for being an angel and taking you home with her. god bless you all!!!Come visit me, Princess Gracie Thankyou for making me BOTD, Martha Speaks, Peaches & Dazz.
