I was in a parrot rescue for a long time and then my future mommy started to volunteer there every weekend. I wanted to hang out with her all the time, and would sit on her shoulder while she was helping other birdies there. I am very shy and very afraid of many things (mommy tries to figure out what happened to me in past, she thinks someone hurt me and that is why I'm afraid of men and hands a lot). She finally took me home. I'm still trying to get used to my new place but they love me here so much I don't think I would ever want to go back :-).

Active within 411 Days Hi! My name is Roger I am a Cockatoo from Stoughton, MA. Mommy calls me Sunshine a lot 3 years old M Cockatoo Almonds, cashews, apples and grapes. I'm very shy, so most of the time I spend on my favorite perch in my cage, but when I come out I like to be on Momma's shoulder. Fast movements scare me. I'm afraid of men, especially their hands. That's why I'm a Momma's boy :-) That big white box in the kitchen scares me, too ( I think they call it a fridge). She is patient with me. Many things scare me and she tries to comfort me all the time. I love to cuddle with her a lot. Running back and forth really fast on top of my cage.. .

IT'S FINN AGAIN Hi Roger and Maki, Hope you two are getting along famously by now. I'm so sorry that I haven't been around. I just wanted to let you know that Momma’s computer crashed last Thursday and was in the shop for several days. We’re back in business now, but Momma had over 175 emails to catch up on! My little fister, Lucy, will be running for BOTD tomorrow, the 14th 'cause her hatchday's the 15th, and Momma thought that would make a nice hatchday present for her to wear the crown. I hope we can count on you to vote for her on Friday. Thanks a million. Hi, Im Daisy Hi Roger! You look like a Goffin's, like me! You're very young, and when I was your age everything freaked me out too! Now, I help my guy look for stuff in the fridge, not scared of that anymore! But a little tiny nail or screw on the table that I never seen before and I'm OUTTA there!
