Sorry for not getting back to you sooner but I only check the bird channel in the morning. No need to sound so frustrated and angry. I believe that to get Bird of the week you have to go to as many bird sites with a picture of your bird and round up as many votes as possible. Just like an election. Thats all I know.

Sorry you didn't get your dog but that pretty little parakeet will talk up a storm if you stick with it and have patience. Before I went in the service at 18 I had one named Mikey who said a zillion words. Well not quite that many but he said a lot. Unfortunately he died of a broken heart because I was gone for 4 years. We now have a Hahns Macaw and 2 dogs. We had 10 dogs but they went to heaven and are buried in our plot out back. Miss them all and hope to see them later. Well I have said enough for now. Just one question. Where did that pretty name come from and what does it mean. Take care and I hope you will drop me a line.
