Woah 3 more members!! For sure your parents are busy!! Mom hopes to have a parrot rescue in the future. She really loves the idea, but right now she lives with grandma and some others, so space is limited. It was a real close one with Irwin too. He should be coming home soon. The breeder is going to let mom know in a couple of days whether or not he is weaned. I'm so excited I'll finally have someone to boss around!! And you are right, I am going to blame everything on him! Isn't that wonderful? lol I got a new toy today and destroyed it in an hour. It was such fun. My my....I hadn't heard from you in ages! OF course we understand that the flock is big and busy, but we are sure glad you stopped by and left a note. Hi Crocket!! This is just a quick message I'm sending to all my friends. Mom's been offline for a while to deal with some family business. I've really missed all you guys. Our cool backpacks have arrived and we're been outside in them twice already! I'm kind of scared of it but Wisdom thinks it's the best thing since nutri-berries! Mom hasn't taken us for an actual walk in them yet. She's just getting us used to being in them and outside for now. Dad just got a really awesome new camera so pictures are on the way!!! Mom really loves the Captive Foraging DVD, too! It has so many great ideas including using food as a foraging toy! Did you know that you can hide an almond in a piece of zucchini? It can be pretty hard to get it out!!! Our foraging pyramids are also a hit with both me and Wisdom! Mom hides pumpkin seeds under all the wooden beads and we have to work really hard to get them! Hi Crocket! Yep things are good. Except I got mad at mommy because yesterday when she left for work she told me she'd be back to see me and never showed up! grandma tucked me in and still no mommy! So this morning I wouldn't let her scritch me, to show her I wasn't happy. She apologized so my hard to get act might have to end soon. Besides she knows just the right spot to scritch too! I am still waiting on a cargo net mom got me for my hatch day two weeks ago! Can you believe it? I hope you have a good day and say hello to the rest of your flock for me! Wow Crocket!! You and your flock and mommy must have your hands full then!! My mom wishes she could have a house full of rescue birds too. It's such a great thing. But right now there is no space, and money is sort of tight. Mom hopes to add to the flock in the next year or two. I mean, I'm quite happy being an only bird!! But I guess if it makes mom happy and there is a bird in need, I will sacrifice some of my time with her. As long as that newbie learns who is boss!!! What is it with Grey's? Wisdom's making my life difficult by loving all the dollar store toys that mom buys for us. His favorite toy in the whole world right now is an orange fish rattle that mom got for a dollar and he ignores the 30 dollar toy she bought him on Saturday from the pet store! I'm so glad to hear the happy update! We were getting nothing but "Squawk" pages for a few days, too. Glad that's over! It's wonderful to hear that your new friends are settling in well and that Dusty is starting to perch! Wisdom goes to the vet tomorrow because of his diarrhea. I'm worried about him but he seems to be doing a bit better the last few days. At least he's behaving normally. Mom moved the budgies into the same room as me and Wisdom and they're a bundle of fun! They're so little and they never shut up and they fly all over their cage! They're way better than TV. Mom needed them out of the dining room because she's actually going to put dining room furniture in there, now! LOL!Christina, Brampton, Ont., AE.

My Buddy, Crocket!!!!!!
We're back! Mom's Internet connection was down for a few days and she had to call her server a bunch of times and get really irritated but it's all better now! My mom is sad today because her friend's budgie died last night. Mom held his little body in her hands and cried. He always had health problems and mom and her friend worked closely with the breeder and vet but he just couldn't hold on anymore. We miss that sweet little darling. I'm cheering mom up by blowing her kisses and acting like a clown. It's so nice to see all my friends again. Wow! Sounds like you and the flock had a wonderful Easter! I'm so glad about that because all of you are so dear to me...even your humans! For my hatchday, I got the Parrot Adventure DVD. It's really cool! It teaches, "Hello," and, "I love you." It also teaches step up, socialization and shows feeding time in the nursery and has a section called, "a perch with a view." Wisdom REALLY loves it and I think it's okay. I'd rather play but Wisdom has always been fascinated with the TV. Me and Wisdom got a bunch of foot toys in our Easter baskets and mom made Bird Talk Birdie Bread for us! Wisdom hated it but I thought it was great! Me and Wisdom are so different! We're learning to get along, though! Congrat's on your new flockmates! My mom bought a shower perch, but hasn't put me on it yet cause one day while she was in the shower, she put me in it & I was so scared I fluttered & bumped my wings a little too hard. Should she keep trying?? She also went & painted a shallow bowl & wants to put a little water & then mist me? We'll see. When she put me in the bathroom sink with the water - I really fluttered up & broke 2 feathers on the faucet - she was NOT thinking. Like I said - she has a lot to learn. She does try in a bigger kitchen sink with warm water in a trickle. Guess I'll have to like it one day?? I think I'm molting? So I probably need to bathe!!Come visit me, WOODY ( R.I.P. 8-27-2000).

Thank you for the hatchday wishes! I got the "Parrot Adventure" DVD and I like what I've seen so far. There's all kinds of parrots and cue cards and people and birds saying Hello. There's also a section called "Feeding time in the nursery" and much more! I also got a bunch of foot toys in my Easter Basket! What's that I smell baking in the oven? Could it be birdie bread?! Yay! Happy Easter!
It'll be great to see the new pictures of Dusty! We love watching him grow! Wisdom and I are doing better now that mom made us a play table. She covers the table with cool foot toys and we can get as close or as far away from each other as we want. It's going okay. Mom wants to get some birdie puzzles for us to do and start trick training us. Maybe that'll help, too! Have a Happy Easter! Tomorrow is both Easter and my hatchday!
