Amando here with an update on my toe-biting technique. I have found out that if I crouch really low when I sneak up that I can spring higher up and get the parront's ankles harder. While they try to get away I nail their toes a chomp or 2 for good measure.

Hey Picabo and flock
Thanks for the hatchday wishes. It was delicious. I had a great day. I spent lots of time with momma and we had her extra special birdie bread. I got some new toys and treats today too. It was too cold to go outside today. Maybe it will warm up soon and we can go outside and get some sunshine. I had a good time inside anyway though. I hope your weekend was a fun as mine.

Ohhhhhhh! U mean human toes! Mom says I have have a problem biting MY OWN toes! I can't quite figure that out! U see, I have no problem biting my own toes...actually, I'm quite good at it! U know how it is...freshly manicured nails. In no time at all, I have them sharp as needles. They penetrate human skin most efficiently when they are sharp! Hehehe! Any advice would be greatly appreciated...such as informing my mom she's the one with the problem...not me! Thank you!

I am a long time, professional toe, ankle biter. I love to sneak off my cage and like JAWS I come up behind and CHOMP!
My parronts don't think it's so funny, but I laugh and chuckle as they dance around rubbing their sore foot. It's great fun.
I'd love to perfect my technique even more.

Hi Doc
We have recently discovered toes, and we are hopelessly addicted. We chase feet all over the house to bite them. They are chewy, tasty, and it's so much fun to hear the hoomans yelp. However, the hoomans are afraid we will one day get stepped on and squished. Do you have any tips on breaking a habit that we enjoy so much?

Dear TBA
I am a ToeBiter. If anyone has there feet anywhere near my daddy I will attack them. This means I mostly get my mommy who is NOT keen on this behavior. It gets me put in a time out everytime and never stops the behavior. What is a bird to do cuz it's natural to protect my daddy. Sometimes I will forget myself and bite daddy's toes too. Any advice.

Hello Dr. Picabo
I see alot has happened since our last chat. You have become a Dr. How wonderful. My brother Corona could really use your services. If someone comes to the house and knocks on the door, Mum cant answer until Corona is caged because if she does, he attacks the visitors feet. If the visitor has shoes on, he goes from the toes up to the ankle, and if his wingers arnt clipped, he flys at their face, but he always starts at the toes. Sometimes I will attack toes. Usually when I am in the big nest with Mum and Dad and I see the toes sticking out from beneath the sheets, I cant resist. Usually its dads toes that stick out because Mum is smart ennough to keep hers covered.Mum says that I need help with my toe biting but in my case I think of it as a good thing. What if Dads toes were sticking out from under the sheets in the middle of the night and a monster saw them? Well a monster would just bite dads toes completely off, but that would never happen because as soon as the toes pop out from under the sheets, I nip at them so Dad has to cover them up. So in reality, I am saving dads toes from being bitten off by a monster. Mum says I am in denial. What do you think? Is there a good side to toe-bitting? i havent been around much because the grandchildren were living with us. It was terrible. They were covered in cooties, and I thought I was having a breakdown. Mum even had to set up another cage for me in a room that the little creatures were not allowed to go in because I would just scream and scream every time I saw them. I even bit one of them because she put her little fingers into my cage. I didnt bite her hard, but I nipped her just to tell her to keep away from me.Thats why I havent been around for awhile, but they moved away now and things are back to normal. Besides becoming a authority on toe biting and becoming a Dr, how are you doing? I missed chatting with you and I can see I have missed out on alot. Toe Biters???
Hi, my name is Yoda and I am a toe biter.
I've been biting toes (and heels) since I was a little birdie of 4 months.
My Mommie doesn't like when I bite her toes but I am very sneaky and ALWAYS get my toe!!!!
Do I really have a problem??
Are there many like me in the birdie world??
Are there certain breeds that are known to be toe biters??
Should I be worried??

hi

Happy New Year!! I'm Myron! I love to bite toes, human and my flock mates, many of them lost their toes to me mom says she giving me away because I won't stop, she's really angry at me. HELP!!!!!! Hmmnn. I've never bitten toes myself, although I've managed to get a few fingers here and there -- and once I chomped on some ear. (That was a mistake, though. A not-so-smart human frightened me and, well, oh, getting that ear just seemed like the right thing to do. BUT I guess it wasn't.)
