I met Mom and Dad when the came to my house. I was in a corner and did not get much attention. I was a biter and a screamer. Mom and Dad wanted to take me away from that and give me a better life. It just so happened I was for sale. I was tough on Dad alway biting him. Dad did not give up on me. Now I am a love who loves attention and scratches under the wings. Lots of scratches..

Active within 2116 Days Hi! My name is Merlin I am a Blue-and-Gold Macaw from Trinity, FL. Twirlin Merlin because I like to do flips on my playpen. Also Birdie Birdie. When I do something good I say "good birdie birdie" 6 years old M Blue-and-Gold Macaw walnuts and almonds The family room and the pool deck with my buddy Sidney a Scarlet Macaw. not being able to go outside because of the weather. My dad is always building me play gyms out of wood so I can chew them up. I completely destroy one evey 6 weeks or so. He likes to hang upside down and do flips. His favorite game is stick up. I point my finger at him he will put his wings up in the air. When I say bang he falls over and plays dead.. A bird has got to chew what a bird has got to chew.

Hi Merlin You are Beautiful! Looks like you have a really fun place to play outside. You sound like so much fun playing stick up and doing flips! That would be so fun to watch, I bet you bring lots fo smiles to your family :) We are glad you have a good daddy that never gave up on you, sometimes thats what we need. I am glad my Mommy never gave up on me because now i am having the time of my life! I bit her very hard lots of times one time i bit mommy so hard in the middle of her hand between her thumb and first finger i made all of her fingers raise up! I realized how much i hurt mommy and haven't really bit her since. Mom knows how bad i used to hurt so she can only imagine how you used to be.
