I brought home Magic from a pet store in February 2010. His time with us- sadly- two months and one week, were filled with love and happiness. One day I was outside with Magic and the bunnies in a big pen. After a few hours, I was about to bring had brought two bunnies inside and was about to bring the third one in when I saw her hop into the tunnel magic was sitting behind. (Or so we think, It happened so fast I hardly remember. I heard Magic scream. He was paralyzed and was missing all his tail and wing feathers. I quickly picked him up and rushed him into the house. My dad took Magic from me and gave him some water. We went outside so I could show him what happened. I was totally devastated and crying as I said goodbye to Magic and saw him leave his feathered body for the Rainbow Bridge.

I miss him with all my heart and still cry when I think of him. He was just the sweetest thing. How he died I'm still not sure but believe it was a heart attack. Budgies are just the best birds ever and I would do anything to have another one in my life.

Hi! My name is In loving memory of Magic Littlebird

I am a Budgerigar from campbell, CA.

6 years old   M

Gold Millet sprays

He loved his playgym so much

birds of prey, bunnies

She brought me outside to play, fed me good food, bought me a huge playgym, and got me a big cage.

He almost never bit me, but when he did, he always followed up with a sweet kiss..

  Hello Magic!
Its great to finally talk to you, Magic! I see you all the time, here on the bridge, but its good to finally talk to you.

And I agree. I love Millet spray. I loved it so much even before I was on the bridge that I had to protect it, if my mom came to close.
But I think that the best part, is that I can eat seeds freely now on the bridge, without my mommy telling me that I need to eat other things too. (If she was here, I would listen better)

I like the glow-in-the-dark halos too, but my favorite part is the Birdie Choir! I love being able to sing with all different kinds of birds..some birdies that lived till they were 20 are there! So I can sing, and sing, and sing.

Come visit me, Yosemite & Jude (In Loving Memory).

Oh that is a sad, sad story. I like to go out in my travel cage with my Moms, but only if she is holding me in the sling. If she puts down the cage I start complaining--weet weet weet! Even if I am covered! I like it best when I am hidden behind Mom's neck, but she doesn't usually let me go outside like that! Anyway it was nice meeting you even if you are over the Rainbow Bridge with so many of my friends!

  Hi Again
Jude's mommy again.
Thank you very much for the reply on Jude's profile.
I have another Cockaiel, that I got after I lost Jude. Her name is Yosemite. But I haven't made her a profile just yet too. On the 19th of June, I will have Yosey for a month, that will be when I will make her a profile.

Come visit me, Yosemite & Jude (In Loving Memory).

  Our Condolences
I am so sorry for your loss!!! Only bird owners can truly understand the devastation of the loss of our feathered family members. Four years ago, Nippy (Double Yellow Headed Amazon)and I lost his best friend and mate, Gizmoe (Blue Front Amazon). For him it was love at first site...she took a few months to adapt being a 2nd family bird. Once she accepted him they were never more than 2 feet apart. I had them living on an open perch in a bird proof room. One day I heard a frantic flutter of wings and Nippy screaching in the background. Rusing to them, I discovered Gizmoe on the bottom of the perch. I can only guess at what happened but her neck was broken. It was an instant departure from this world so she did not suffer. Sad as I was at her loss, watching Nippy was worse. He climbed into her casket and groomed her. After the burial we went through a horrendous month of watching Nippy go from room to room calling her. Slowly he returned to accepting my love but he still perks up at the pic of Gizmoe and her song, "I'll Fly Away". I agree, you are separated by distance but not in heart. Our sympathy and prayers go out to you.

Come visit me, Preecie Jean & Buttons (right) and mate, Sassy.

I have lost my beautiful bird as well...My cockatiel named Jude. I didn't get lucky to have Jude for 2 months and a great week, but only 3 weeks. I just lost her a week or so ago.
I wish you luck, and if you're ready to get another bird, I'm sure that Magic will watch over it.

RIP Magic & Jude

Come visit me, Yosemite & Jude (In Loving Memory).
