Ra is a rescued sun conure from an owner that had 81 birds and was mentally unstable; so the birds were seized. After reading this article in the paper about the mistreated parrots and that the rescue was overwhelmed with parrots; that they needed fosters, I decided the help. So I took off of work to go apply to be a foster for the Wilson Parrot Foundation in Damascus Md. And that is where I found Amun Ra, a bird with no name or home until now.... Awards

Hi! My name is Ra

I am a Sun Conure from Mount Airy, MD.

Fluffy Bunny
Beaner Bird

10 years old   M

Sun Conure

MANGOS, bananas, ALMONDS, PEANUTS, Juice, apple pellets & corn.

The kitchen hoop perch so he can see what everyone is doing...My shoulder and the top of his cage I made into a play area.

Being grabbed with a towel by unknown people, putting your hand over his head, and sudden jerky movements.

Riding on her shoulder, AMLONDS, bananas,
watching movies with her, PEANUTS, cockatiels, I think I am a cockatiel, MANGOSSSSS, JUICE, CORRRN, hanging out in the kitchen watching people cook, being blowdried, burrowing in my mommys blankets or clothes, nibbling mom's ear, cuddling close to her neck, and my foraging toys she places some of my favorite foods in.

Termite, Almond fetish, Lollypop stick toy obsession, nest protective, lets me know when a cockatiel has flown across the room/fallen or if an intruder has come in the room ((such as the dog or my boyfriend))and enjoys being blow dried after a shower..
