Hi! Dusty Rose,
My name is Oz and I'm also a Rose Breasted. My Mommy is my 3rd owner and she said that I'm now in my forever home. I'm glad cause I really like it here. I live in an Avian Accent Home with lighting and filtration system and Mommy said it costs a lot but I'm worth it. My other owners thought I was a Boy and called me Ozzie but Mommy had me DNA tested and guess what I'm a Girl. So since The Wizard of Oz is my Mommy's favorite movie, she calls me Oz. A note from Sierra to all of her friends
I just wanted to stop by and wish all my friends here on Bird Channel a nice weekend. Today is a very special day for me and my Erin. We are celebrating my 1 year of coming to live with Erin!! We are so happy today! It's seems like Erin and I have been together forever, but yet we both can't believe this day is here. It was an uphill battle (guess mom named me right, Sierra means jagged mountain range.) Just to think a year ago I was afraid of everyone now I have nothing to fear, well almost. Erin says I have grown by leaps and bounds, this past month have have also decided its okay to let select people hold me. We both feel so triumphant! It's so wonderful to live a normal happy life. Today we shall celebrate with some birdie bread and new toys!! I can't wait to get the party started :) we will take pictures and post them at a later date. You are the cutest darn little baby I have ever seen! My mom never got to see me as a baby because she is my second and last owner. There have been Rosie babies at our local bird store, but never ones as little as you! Welcome home!! You have many years of cuddling ahead of you: We never stop loving a good cuddle! @~>~~ Mommy says thank you for the kisses and I say thank you too. I have 2 mommies so it must be cool to have a daddy but having two mommies is cool too cause not many birdies can say that.
Mommy calls today to see if my baby snuck through the egg yet we can hardly wait my mommies were next to me since I was just pulled from my birdie mommys nest. so we will have lots of time with my new baby too.
Thank you for saying I am a big girl I turn 1 in 2 weeks. Tell mommy and daddy to love you like theres no tomorrow cause before they know it you will be turning one as well.

Mommy and I think you are soooooo cuuuteeeeee. I am getting a baby sis/bro soon but he wont look like a little chicken on top he will look just like me just littler. Mommy wants one of you now cause look at how sweet you are.

Weaning pellets...YUMMY!
I love those weaning pellets....mom makes mine with warm water. They are the best! Actually I love anything that mom mushes and feeds to me. YUMMY! On Easter I got mushed sweet potatoes and regular potatoes. They were so good but what made them even better was the fact that mom hand fed them to me. I hope you are not getting the impression that I am having weaning issues...because I am not. At least I don't think I am....mom does. he he he! What can I say? I am addicted. I don't want to be rude and all. I know we just meet and everything but can I have some of your hand feeding formula? he he he! Mom stopped giving me my hand feeding formula and now I get weaning pellets. I love them just as much but mom says it is soon time for me to eat just big boy food. So cute! Our store used to have a rose-breasted cockatoo and I taught him how to wave. I sure miss him; he was the sweetest thing ever, so I called him "Sweetpea". I hope yours is as sweet! Isn't hand-feeding fun? They always get so messy, and they're funny when they're done, with their little pouches all bulged out. :-D Come visit me, Iliya, Zoe & Leo.

Happy First Easter
We hope you have a great Easter weekend little guy. Say hi to the rest of your flock for us okay :)I know you are too young to play with toys yet, but we are excited because we get easter suprises at this house. Sam the Red bellied is going to get an easter basket to play in because he likes to do weird stuff like that. I think i'll just watch while Mom takes pictures of him, we shall see i am not that brave of a bird yet but we are working on it. Today i wanted to go to my mommies sister and i had a lot of fun getting held by her, I even let her keep her arm surprise surprise. Hi Dusty Rose! Thanks for the compliments, mom tells me how pretty I am all the time, so I guess it's gone to my head!! And I think Crocket is quite handsome too, but don't tell him I said that because I'm a shy girl!! I'm glad to see that you are eating well and growing strong!! Keep it up!! In no time you'll be full of beautiful feathers. My mom loves it when 'toos ruffle their feathers over their beaks, she says they look so cute...but they can't look cuter than me! You are definitely up there in cuteness though, we love the little crest!! Here's a vote, keep on eating! Oh and give those green beans another try.
