My Mom works at Petsmart and I was one of the birds available in the store and I some how hurt my wing and it now does not set flat like the other wing, so Mom was able to adopt me and give me a good home!!!

I have had her for about a month and I love her to pieces!!!!.

I don't like it when Mommy tries to pet my head......I am also not to fond of having my wings clipped......

I have a loving home and a Mom who spends time with me!!!

I love to whistle at the t.v. set, I love to dangle from the roof of my cage and swing and I love my mirror the best!!!.

Life is too short not to be Fantastic!!!.

Hello Sunny & Flock
Bentley here with a thank you for your visit yesterday while I was King of the BC. Talk about a day with lots to chatter about, that was definitely yesterday! I couldn't stop chitterin' and chatterin' to all my flockmates about how awesome it felt to be the BOTD. I think they were excited for me, but then again, it may've just been the extra millet and red leaf lettuce that was hung up here, there, and everywhere in our bird room in celebration of my special day.

Thanks for helping to make it all the more special with your company.

Okay – First of all, thank you EVERY birdy for BOTD. Mom went to my page and looked to see who was on my page the day before and there were not enough birdies to get me in as BOTD. HMMMM Somebirdy was up to something to keep Mom’s fingers very busy at the computer with me. She is laughing hard, still trying to figure out the plan. BUT she promised she would do her best to keep up with our blogs. (serves her right) Love you mom. It took her 2 weeks to catch up on Marley’s blogs, but she did it. Guess what – it is snowing again. We are giving it away for whoever wants it. We have one red squirrel who found a way to get the blue jays peanuts so Mom and Dad have to find a new way to feed the jays. Dad is out shoveling and Mom is going to start a fire in the stove later, and work some more in the bird room. Her plan is to have the entire room done by the middle of the week so we can start renovating it again. Country life is beautiful - when we look out the window everything is white, but it is peaceful. For those of you I have not yet squawked to this year, Happy New Year to you, your flock and your family! Sorry for the copy and paste. lol

It has been a strange holiday season for us in the country. The last mom remembers is when everything looked pretty as a Christmas card and Marley got BOTD and then got it a second day and she was upset because it is not supposed to happen. Well, the snow was falling hard and she had to go out and that is when thing started happening. Our little village lost power and not everyone got it back at the same time. Not everyone lost it at the same time either. It was flashing off and on at our place and we shut down whatever we could, hoping not to lose it, but things went that night. Mom was in the shower when it happened. She was full of soap and she came out of the bathroom in a towel, screaming out for Dad to get the generator working so she could rinse off. By the time he got things going, the water had gotten cool and Mom was not happy when she came out of there. She started a fire to warm up the place but we were cozy warm because the bird room is taken care of. It was getting late, so with nothing much to do, no internet, no TV, Mom said goodnight to us, and went to sleep. We woke her early the next day and cheered her and Dad on while they shoveled the many inches of snow that had fallen overnight. Mom said the snow was up past her waist. It is now after Christmas... and after New Years. we DID have power the day before Christmas, but it was still doing funny things even then, so Mom would turn on the computer, sneak in a vote (except when we had no internet and no power for those few days) and turn it off again, even though we have those special UPS things, Mom does not trust them . Dad was having trouble with his computer - he could not get past the bios. Mom has already lost two hard drives when she moved, so doesn't want that happening again. We had another storm that was supposed to skip us but hit Montreal. Mom was laughing last night, since the others did nothing in Montreal. This one hit Montreal and us. Another 50 cm which is 20 inches. When will it end? We are in January and the worst is usually in January and February. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas – tell us all about it. Oh yes, we DID get treats and toys and all sorts of stuff, throughout Hanukkah and on Christmas Day. We had a boring New Years since Mom and Dad went out – her skin daughter came to visit with the rugbrats, and mom said she was glad to see them go, and if they don’t come again for another year or ten she will be happy. The daughter left things for mom to clean up after them, and mom just left it, saying she will do it another time. She made a New Years resolution, to get us on BC more often, and another to get me caught up with my thank yous – so Thank you very much for all those votes to get me in for BOTD, not once but twice! Mom made another cake and I am dropping off a big piece for you, in case you did not get one the first time. Better late than never I say.
