Sunkist here. Thanks for stopping by. Daddy calls the blue on my face my eyeshadow....eeeeee! Mommy thinks it is irresistable when I say "What a good gir". That was not a typo, I leave off the "L" sound in girl most of the time. Daddy also says I have fire in my belly cause I am a spunky little amazon. My parents DO love me to pieces, but I love daddy more than mommy. That's okay, though, cause Pipper (my brother) loves mommy best so it evens out. I think your mommy should get you a friend but she want to rethink the cockatoo thing, at least an umbrella. Mommy and daddy love Merlina but she is kind of a pain. She screams every night when the lights go out and the tv is on. Ignoring her DOES NOT work. She requires ALOT of attention...WAAAAAAY more than all us amazons put together. I think she should get another amazon, or maybe a macaw, if she likes the clowning around type. Just somethin for her to think about. Anyway, it was good chattin with ya. Hello from Pipper and the flock!
Wow, you look either really mad or scared in your picture! I wouldn't want to be at the end of that beak, hahaha! I just had to stop by and welcome a fellow amazon! I am an orange-wing and Sunkist is my sister from a different clutch. You sound like a real fun bird. I love to hang upside down like a bat and kick my toys with my other foot...all while screaming at the top of my lungs. I hope you will come visit all of us. We have a total of 3 amazons in our flock. Jade is a lilac-crown. We also have 3 macaws (2 are a married couple and mommy hasn't made them a page) and a cokatoo. Hope we can be friends.
