here i am again at long last! Mum just posted new pics.
She made a cute new doggie, a blue headed pionus, a hyacinth macaw, a golden conure, even an octopus & an Indian ring neck. She's also made a new female ekkie & believe it or not, a pink pig with some piglets & a baby seal, but no pictures of them yet.
Our nice warm weather has finally come to an end. It is down right cold now, with a very stiff breeze blowing, but the water is still surprisingly warm (she just had a swim) but she says when you come out, you better hurry into the hot shower. Hope you'll have a nice w/e.

here i am again at long last. Mum's posted new pics.
A brand new moluccan cockatoo, she just finished today. It's a really big one. A little sun conure, a pug doggie (it's for Cookies mum) 2 yellow sided green cheeked conures, 2 budgies with only one foot each, the lady who ordered them wanted them exactly like that, b/c her 2 are like that. And a toucan.
Hope you've been well & slowly getting summery weather.
We had b'ful autumn days, but today was a bit cooler with strong winds. Mum's still swimming every day. It'll be alright for another month or so.

mum just put up a whole heap of new pics in my gallery. It's her brand new B&G macaw, blue & green quaker, a lutino tiel, a Mexican red headed amazon & her new CAG.
She also put pics up, her friend Sandi took of some of the pals & Sandi's card. Sandi is the girl, mum goes to markets with, she sells b'ful cards, she makes of her own photographs, mainly of birds. Hope you enjoy these.
Hope you had a good week. Your country didn't have a good week, with all the horrible things going on.
It's getting colder here, mum just put on a pair of socks, first time since last winter!

i had to have a serious word with mum today about not taking my dictations for so long. I told her i miss my friends very much & i demanded that she blogs tonight, so here i am. New pics are up, the first one is of a severe macaw, just in case you won't know this species. She's just been making pals all the time, she still really enjoys it & wants to build up her stock for the market in July. How have you been my friend? I hope well.
I'm just fine & really enjoy our b'ful autumn weather, if you can call it that, with temps still around 74F, but no humidity, which mum's extremely happy about. She swims every day, the water is so warm, it feels like a warm bath. Have a great w/e & here comes a vote for you,

as you can see mum's been busy making new pals.
Just flying by to wish you a Happy Easter.
Our weather has finally taken a turn for the somewhat cooler & at long last no humidity....mum's so happy about that. Dad's happy too, he's got 4 days off, so we're all one happy family. Not doing much for Easter, just hanging out & eating chocolate, well them, not me!!!

i'm baaaack, at long last! Mum just posted new pics. The first one is of her at the markets, which went real well. Mum sold $450.00 worth of pals, so that made her happy. She also made lots of contacts & met a lot of real nice people.
Everybody that came to her stall, broke out in big smiles & ahhh's & ohhh's. They all just loved her pals. She also got an order of the IRN, you can see in my gallery. Everybody agreed that the creature in the 3rd pic is a Tasmanian devil, just not all black. The 2nd pic is her brand new green cheeked conure. So, how have you been? I hope well.
It's still pretty warm here & it seems summer is never ending. I had a lovely sun bath today, with mum sitting with me on the balcony. It's great to be back & chat with my friends again.

Hi BJ,
here i am again.
Mum just put a few new pics up. A brand new owl she just finished today. The other owl has been up before, but now she's got glasses on. Also her new Easter pals. She's made lots more of them, but wants to wait with pics till she gets the little chocolate eggs for them.
It's been unbearably humid here. It seems like there's no end to it this year. Mum really suffers from it & today she only went outside very late in the afternoon to go for her swim. Dad comes home a bit earlier from work so she can go with the car, beats riding the bike in this heat!
Mum "skyped" the other night for the first time. It was with her niece from Germany, can you believe it they chatted for 4 hours!!! Mum said it was a lot of fun & they will do it again soon.

here i am again with my weekly blog. Have a look at the rooster mum made. It was an order from an old friend of hers, who's a mad fan of our Rugby football team here, called "The Roosters." He got it today & loves it. Mum also made some funny bunny ears & St.Patrick's Day hats for the birds. It's all for the market days in March.
It's still very hot & humid here & mum hopes the worst is over & cooler temps are on the way soon, but she gets b'ful swims in every day. Hope you're well & have a good time.

Happy Valentine's Day to you & your flockily.
Mum & dad mostly ignore that day, b/c it's all become a bit too commercialised.
New pics are up, as you can see in my gallery. Mum's getting into all kinds of things now,even snakes, can you believe it? Well, with the Chinese new year of the snake, maybe not a bad idea?
She's got an order from a lady in Canada, who saw the ad in BT mag, that made mum very happy & she hopes there will be more to come.
Our weather has been behaving itself pretty much this week, but it's already getting hotter again.

new pics today, have a look. Mum even made a beehive, a new doggie ,new rabbit, a carrot for a rabbit, a lady bug & a new goffins too.
We had a break from the heat for the last 2 days & we had lots & lots of rain, which we needed badly.
I'm well & happy. Dad was home for 4 days, we had a long w/e, it was our Australia Day.

look mum tried her hands on a little doggie. Mum sold a blue budgie to a boy last week, so now his sister wanted a doggie. Mum wasn't sure if she can make a dog, but for her first one, this isn't too bad.
Thanks for your hatchday wishes. It's still really hot here & getting even hotter the next few days. Last Friday we had a record breaking heat of far over 100 (46 in Celsius)!!!
Mum goes for her swims every day, that's the only relief for her. I love my baths too.
Hope you're not too cold! Wish we could swap weather, just a little, so everybody would be comfortable.

today is my made up hatchday! Mum showered me with love & affection the whole day...i'm not complaining!
It's pretty warm over here & i had a late little bath today to cool off. We're in for another heat wave by the end of the week. Mum wishes summer was over already!
She put some Valentine's birds up, with hearts & little cards around their necks, so if you need one for Valentine's Day, just let mum know. She takes orders of any birds. There's a little green cheek conure, 2 more with hearts around their necks, a brand new umbrella cockatoo, she just finished today, 2 new budgies, a gang gang cockatoo, some bunnies & a cute little bunny by itself. Hope you're staying warm in your cold weather & have fun whatever you do. Thanks for liking all the pals.

hope you had a good start to the new year & all is well.
Mum & dad stayed home on NYE, much to my liking! They had home delivery of some Thai meals & enjoyed that. I got some rice which is always nice!
Can you believe what mum made now? Have a look in my gallery & see the toadstool & the froggies. She's busy making up stock now. She's going to a 3 day market in March, that will be just before Easter & she'll need lots of stock.
We're having very hot weather right now & more to come. There are even bush fires in Tasmania, very unusual!

sorry it took me so long to get back, but busy days! Christmas was nice, but the weather was very unusual this year. It rained all day long & we even had a t-storm. Mum said that was the equivalent to a "white Christmas" for here, lol!
Now we're looking forward to the New Year & wonder what it'll bring!
New pics are up. Her brand new military macaw, she just finished today. Then there is the same one again together with a new B&G macaw & a new male ekkie.

mum wanted to blog for me last night, but her internet was down for a while & by the time it came back, it was bed time. This will most likely be my last blog before Christmas & here is a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS to you & your flockily! Have a look at my new pics & there's one that says it all! The others are of another owl, the fishies all together, the frog, a new turtle & a new parakeet.
Mum's been flat out busy this week, with people wanting last minute Christmas gifts. She sold 16 pals in just 3 days & thinks there'll be more to come. The display at the library is finished now & mum picked up her pals last night. It was perfect timing, but now they're all back home, packed up in a box...poor things! Before they stood there in their glass cabinet for almost 3 month & got admired by so many people.
All the best my friend & be good! Thank you very much for your lovely card, we got a few days ago, sorry mu didn't sand any cards this year.

gee, my secretary is getting a bit slack in taking my dictations, but i finally convinced her tonight, so here i am!!! The new pics are of mum's Santa bird, a new lorikeet & 2 new fishies.
She had a few sales since we "spoke" last, but nothing major for this time of year. Lots of people ring up & inquire, but don't follow through....a bit frustrating for mum, but what can she do? Be patient, i tell her, b/c i know a lot of folks leave it up to the last minute!
The display at the library is still going strong & has brought quite a few sales.
The weather's been up & down here like a see-saw & at the moment it's down right cool!
Mum had her feathers cut short today & she loves it. She tells me it feels so free & cool (for the hot days!)

i'm baaaack!!!! A few new pics are up. Look what mum made now. It's a "Nemo" Look-alike!!! What you think of it? How have you been, i hope well.
We had terribly hot & humid weather, specially yesterday, but today was quite the opposite, rather cool, but mum LOVES it that way. The swimming is great & the water has reached it's perfect temperature.
T'was skin sis's b'day yesterday & they had a b'day dinner for her on Friday night. She went away for the w/e after that with a friend.
Mum's been very moderately busy, but she wishes it was MORE, MUCH MORE!!! Bit disappointing for this time of year. She thought she'd be flat out making Christmas orders.

back again! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving Day with lots of yummy treats. Mum's new pics today are of a new kookaburra, a new owl & a new white cocky. The orders have dried up & mum hopes that she'll get some more before Christmas. She's just making stock now. Dad's really enjoying his new chair & it gets a lot of usage with him still being on holidays, one more week to go.
We've got over 75.000 points, but there really isn't anything anymore to redeem them with. Mum used to get BIRD TALK mag with her points, but now there are only the books on some species, the Bird USA mag & a bird toy making kit, none of which mum is interested in.
The weather is warming up here & mum enjoys her daily swims. The water is getting warmer too.

today's new pics are of mum's new chicken & the 3 new ekkies. They have all been sold already. Mum's continuing to do pretty well with her pals.When she's not making orders, she's making stock.
Dad's b'day was nice & he loved his present VERY much!
It's a very nice recliner chair, so he can get comfy during his watching endless hours of sports! The skin kids helped mum pay for it, b/c it wasn't exactly cheap! Tonight they're going out to dinner, i hope it won't take very long & they'll bring me a treat back!
It was a very dull day today, with rain & clouds & no sun whatso'ever. Mum went for a swim anyway, but the water was cold again! It's very changeable at the moment, but that's normal at this time of year.

2 new pics are up. Her new toucan & a new white cocky.
Mum's swimming at the ocean pool every day now & loves it. The water temp is improving so she can do longer swims now. We had a freak hail storm 2 days ago, mum rushed to close the windows,but some hail stones had already found their way inside, it was really weird!
It'll be dad's 60th b'day on Thursday, so mum went shopping today for a present for him, she got the perfect one!!!

today mum put up 2 pics. The first one is of the display case at the library which Sandi & her set up yesterday! They did a real good job & had fun doing it. Some people have already inquired about pals & cards from Sandi. There'll be better pics of it coming soon!
The second pic is of the red tailed hawk.
It's getting real hot here already, but it's not gonna last, it's getting back to normal on Saturday.
Mum just went for a walk in the park today & saw a big flock of cockatoos again.

the market days are over & here comes the verdict.
Mum sold 11 birds & has an order for one. She also took along her old rock & shell figures, she made years ago & sold 13 of them. She had a lot of fun, met very nice people & made a lot of contacts with people, who are very interested in the pals, so who knows what will come of that? It was a great experience for mum & she said she'll go to the markets all the time now when they come up. The next one is in March next year. Everybody really loved the pals & stood there in awe looking at them. All the stall holders were a bit disappointed that it was so quiet. It wasn't advertised enough.
But mum's happy & wasn't bored at all, she brought some wool & her hook along & did some crocheting while waiting for customers.
She just completed the bird that the one lady ordered & will even hand deliver it to her on Thursday.
Hope you had a good w/e. I was glad dad was home with me, otherwise i would have been alone for a long time.

here goes the canary with a Santa hat!!!We know it's a bit early for Christmas themed pics, but mum just wants to show you the idea she had! She's going to make a lot of Santa hats & everyone who orders a bird from now on, will get one for free, also people at the market will get one when they buy a pal! What do you think of that idea? Mum wants to remind you that if you decide to get a pal for Christmas, now is the time to order. The post office has a date line for Christmas mail, so better be early than late! The 2 new tiels are for a girl in Germany & mum send them off today!

today mum went for an indoor swim & while she was swimming skin bro cleaned & fixed up her bicycle. Mum just dropped it there, since they live very close to the indoor pool & when she picked it up she couldn't believe how good it looked, almost like new again, but it is a 12 year old bike. Skin bro did that for mum's b'day next week.
She's really happy about it, b/c she hates cleaning her bike & never does!
She's still making pals for the market, but no new pics yet. It's supposed to get really hot tomorrow already & mum's planning on staying inside. There'll be very strong winds & a total fire ban is in order!

today was father's day here & the skin kids came around. Mum taught her daughter in law how to crochet. It was a bit hard at first, but she took some wool & a hook home to practise. Then the girls went for a walk with skin bro's doggie, while the men fiddled with their cars. Skin bro detailed dad's car & it looks brand new now. That was his present for dad.
Mum had a night out last night. She met up with old friends & they had a great time.
That's really lovely of your mum to look for a calendar for my mum,but pls tell her not to worry about it, b/c mum's not sending out calendars this year, she's too busy making pals.

Howdy Baby Jr.
How's everything with you and Trill and of course your darling mom? It's rainin' here t'day so everybody's pretty excited about that. Even us parrots were, that is until one of the human sons suggested us birds be taken out in the rain for a shower. Blast that human! Turned out I didn't mind sitting in the rain at all. It was a soft, steady rain; none of that thunder and lightening and wind stuff. The grey birds here though, they whined, fussed and paced till mom came back out (in a good downpour) and rescued them. Big babies. I was one soaked bird by the time I was carried back in. But a soaked bird makes for a really clean bird, which is definitely what I should be now.
Hopin' things have cooled off for you guys some. Hang in there; autumn weather is comin'!

new pics are up! Her new black too, then the 3 too's together, her new B&G & scarlet macaws & the 2 new budgies.
In the mean time she made another budgie, a white one, just finished it. Yes, they're rolling out fast now. She's got 1 month to work her fingers off until market day. It's going over 3 days & it's in a hall, so the weather doesn't really matter, which is a good thing.
Hope your w/e is going good so far. Our Saturday is coming to an end already, but it was good. What does your mum mean by "still trying to find calendars?"

Mum just posted new pics. She finished the branch with the momma robin & the nestlings today & look how it is now! There's also a new cockatoo & 3 new cockatiels.
Mum was very upset last night, b/c her best friend's ekkie died. They were both on the phone crying their eyes out.
She was only 9 & was a real bad plucker. Not really sure what caused her to die, but it's very sad!

Hi BJ,
today's pics are of a Jardine's parrot (Hulk) a cockatiel, a yellow-naped & an orange winged amazon.
Mum went to get her feathers done today, so i was all alone with the radio for about 3 hours, boy was i glad when she came back & i didn't even notice that she looked different! It was a rather warm day here already & it gets dark later now too, so that means spring is on it's way. The seasons always seem to go so fast, don't you think?

Hey BJ! We finally got a break...it's only in the 80's now, and we even got a little rain. Really need more rain, though--even if it means higher humidity. Tree trimmers are supposed to come out tomorrow and trim branches and cut down a dead tree. Of course, they've supposed to be coming since last Thursday. Mum's really happy today, b/c she made up with Glenda!
She wrote a msg to her last night in a nice way & Glenda replied back in a nice way, so now they're both smiling!
Mum hates to have bad feelings with anyone & it really gets to her, so now she is back to normal! Glenda even said that mum's birds are really good & apologized for upsetting her!
She went for another indoor swim this afternoon & would you believe it, that pigeon was there again!
Hope you're having fun, whatever you do, dad just gave me another peanut, haven't had one for a while, so i treasure this one now!

look at the new pics of the photo shoot with the pals at the beach today! That's only mum's pics, but there's heaps more & nicer ones to come
Mum went with Sandi, my vet's nurse, she's a real good photographer, but it'll be a few days till mum gets her pics. It was a real nice day for it too, nice & sunny & warm.
The first pic is of a flock of black cockatoos flying over head! It's really hard to get a good pic of that, but better than nothing!
Mum really want to forget about that mess with Glenda now & carry on as usual.

thank you, thank you, thank you so much for being on mum's side & supporting her like that, she's very relieved & grateful & also glad that she told you about it. Now she just wants to forget about that nightmare & carry on doing what she does best, making her beloved pals.
She never heard anything anymore of Glenda, but 2 of her friends were harassing mum yesterday on FB.Mum told them a few things & they're quiet too now, but mum's still worried that some damage might be done to her small enterprise, b/c it's gone eerily quiet with orders!
The weird thing about it all is that Glenda knew for a few month that mum makes those pals, but never contacted mum about it, so why NOW??? Mum was thinking too that she might be jealous.
Anyway, mum posted 2 new pics today, one of her new CAG & the other of a crimson rosella, she made the other day.
