A note from Sierra to all of her friends
I just wanted to stop by and wish all my friends here on Bird Channel a nice weekend. Today is a very special day for me and my Erin. We are celebrating my 1 year of coming to live with Erin!! We are so happy today! It's seems like Erin and I have been together forever, but yet we both can't believe this day is here. It was an uphill battle (guess mom named me right, Sierra means jagged mountain range.) Just to think a year ago I was afraid of everyone now I have nothing to fear, well almost. Erin says I have grown by leaps and bounds, this past month have have also decided its okay to let select people hold me. We both feel so triumphant! It's so wonderful to live a normal happy life. Today we shall celebrate with some birdie bread and new toys!! I can't wait to get the party started :) we will take pictures and post them at a later date. So in honor of me please do something fun with your parrot today! Birdie hugs <3 SierraCome visit me, Sierra & Sam.

I'm soory to hear about your toes. My mom used to have a sun/gren-cheek cross that had feet problems but never lost them. My mom knows someone who has a conure without any toes and that conure has cotton perches.Come visit me, Isabella.

My mom has a bird like you, I think sun conures are so beautiful. I am sorry about your toes that is really sad. Can you stay up on perches okay, or does your family keep them down lower for you? Its good that you have a nice home now though, i am sure you get extra attention :).Come visit me, Sierra & Sam.
