 I work at a pet store, and we had gotten new birds in. He was two years old, and had been bounced around from store to store, because he was not sold. He had developed some bad habits--biting, and an aversion to men. I was determined to work with him to make him friendly, so he could find a home. Well, it worked--he ended up with me!
He got his name because I am a Russian major and studied abroad in Russia. The city where I stayed (Yaroslavl) was well-known for a church dedicated to the Prophet Iliya (Elijah), and I wanted to remember the good times I had there, so I named him after the church.. |

 Men, especially when they are too close to me or my mom, when mom or my sister leaves the room, invasion of my territory
 She is my mom--I must love and protect her at all costs, she always knows what I'm thinking, and she brings me along on her adventures
 chirping to let everyone know I'm about to eat, chewing on wood all day all the time, sneaking into trouble, randomly developing crushes on people, "dancing" when I'm excited.

I see you have been a BC member for a long time, but have not been active in a long time. I hope all is well with you and your family.
We would love to have you join our mixed Poicephalus baseball team. It's easy to play. You and your parront have to chose 15 numbers (no zeros and no number greater than 12). Here is a sample: 2,5,7,9,6; 1,10,8,6,5; 8,4,2,1,12. You send me the numbers and I send them to Norman (43401 -- this is the number that shows in the URL bar when you blog someone). The number are used to determine how a game turns out. Who gets hits, who gets out, and eventually who wins. Norman and his parront do the play by play. Also, one time, once we get the whole team, you need to get your cap (we have to decide on a color first) at www.pikipimp.com. If your parront has trouble with this, my mom can do it. How's my little brown head friend doing? I am great. Mom put some new friends in my room and we are getting along just fine. Mom got mad at me yesterday though because I tried to take over the Cockatiels cage. So what do you like to do? Do you talk, make noises, do you dance?I like to dance and make noises of other birds.

Yes you are very cute! You look like a baby :) My senegal(past away)He had grey eyes but i was always worried they would turn bright yellow. My friend has a senegal who's eyes are really yellow and he's a sweet bird but his eyes are kind of freaky hehe. I should read more about the brown headed parrot. Have a nice weekend! I also have that play gym for my keets. :) I wish my keets liked to sit on their gym like lliya!!
And you had asked me about my Jake and if she was bossy ans OH YES she is!! She bosses the other 2 around alot, but no fighting. :) And she gets the food bowl when she wants, and is the one that the other 2 respect the most. :)Come visit me, Grace, Emma & Jake.
