Orion!! I'm so happy to hear from you and your flock. Glad to know all is well!! Like I told Sydney, I just didn't like not knowing whether or not you all were ok. It's great to hear that only the computer is having trouble. Speaking of trouble, I continue to get into at least the bare minimum that's required to maintain the Macaw reputation! I've recently taught myself how to open the corner cabinet in the kitchen! What a tresure trove that is!! I don't think Mom would've known where I was were it not for the crash of the metal lid I pushed off a pan. Think I heard the words 'worse than a one year old' and "I'm going to have to buy child-proof latches for these cabinets all because of a bird. I never needed them for the kids but now I've got to have them because of a BIRD!" (That would be ME!) Lucky for me, my mom forgives me my macaw transgressions, instead trying to distract me with something more allowable to play with. But trust me, I've not forgotten how to get into that cupboard or what's in there to play with. There'll be a perfect moment when I've been forgotten...and then... So good to hear from you, Orion. Orion You are very cute. Your house is probably noisier than ours. Now I don't feel so bad. My moms the best too! You sound like a mommas boy? Yup I agree moms are great and yes they do get you out of trouble. SHe defends us all the time. We always annoy dad. I must add we are VERy good at it. That's cause it doesn't take much. We love it. We can put him in a bad mood for the rest of the day. LOL It's all about the reaction. Little does he know we laugh when he's not looking. Mom makes sure we have all the toys and treats and we are never left borded. She works full time. She spends all her free time with us so we can't cmplain. We think you're great. Here's a vote. Hello! Happy Spring to you! Does it feel like winter's gone yet at your house? I got to sun myself for a bit outdoors today which was SO nice. Looking forward to longer afternoons in the sunshine. Hi Orion You have such a beautiful name, how did your mommy name you? Macaw keeping is also not that big over here :P Cockatoo, budgie and tiel keeping is real big here though, supprise supprise :) You guys are real majestic birds. I wonder what it's like to have a mirror image of yourself to hang out with...bet you and Sydney have a fine time together. I'm a little envious. My mom was darn close once to adopting a B&G for me but someone who had no birdies at all also wanted her so, well, it's still just me...and TWO greys. Man, the stories I bet you and I could swap! Orion! So Casey lives with TWO Macaws! Impressive. I live with one and I thought that was somethin'! You and Sydney make quite a pair. Wonder if it's ever hard to tell you apart. Your mom and dad probably never have any trouble...parents know the littlest details about their kids. Nice to meet Casey's flockmates. The Macaw at my house has been told to get his feathers in here and meet you too. I'm impressed that you can open the food doors. I've worked and worked at trying to figure that one out but alas. I could use a little coaching! What I like to do is pull the door closed and hope mom forgets to check and see that it's latched and then ESCAPE when she's out of the room.
