Cinnamon Toast(no sugar!), cashews,peanuts- ,plums,apples grapes,lettuce,- carrots,peppers- ,oatmeal CORN anyway it can be served!
 Top perch, sleeping, and at any foraging box areas. When he's out, in his play area or play stand.
 Getting misted. Hey, buddy, let me tell ya what I'd like to do with that bottle!!!
 Cooks for me, will play with me, and gives me lots of love!
 He hates the ravens in the backyard which he calls crows. He can sound like a fortune teller mysteriously predicting the gloomy future of life with the crummy crows. I have also come to interject any comment when a conversation is going on in another room. Yes, I can HEAR you talking. As the convo moves along, I will say "that's right" and "yeah, good!" Most times, these humans have learned to say thank you. When I don't like the tone of the convo, I'll tell them "NO Stop it, NOW!" You got to be sharp with these humans or they'll run all over ya!.
 Ssshhhh. ..ssshhh...you crummy crows!! Nanny says SSSSHHHHH!!!.

DAY 18 ~ THANKS FOR THE VOTE!
DANIA'S LIFE part 10
When I brought Angel and Luigi home, I wasn't allowed to take them out of my cage. In the next few days I started to bring them out myself. It was fun hanging out with them because I taught them the bobbing head signal. Basically I bob my head in front of the cage and if they bob their heads, that means they want to come out. Also when Angel and Luigi were sitting on top of their cage, they would fly from their cage to all the way to the end of the room and turn and fly back to the cage. It was a lot of fun and I would start running and joining them too. Then Angel wanted to start breeding so I studied about breeding lovebirds and got the breeding box, the lovebird baby food formula and syringes. Angel and luigi tried breeding 5 times, the first 3, they laid eggs and then broke them and one of the eggs didn't hatch. Then I was learning on the way about staying away from the box and checking once a week. The next two times I did stay away from the box, and one bird hatched out. Unfortunatly Angel didn't take care of it properly and it died. Then the next time, 2 birds hatched out and both died since Angel didn't take care of them properly again. I realized that Angel wanted to keep breeding but I couldnt provide the box anymore because I had other things to do too. So I decided to sell Angel to someone who has another boy lovebird so Angel would continue to breed. I found a woman who owned a lovebird that was plucking his feathers. Before, she had the boy and the girl lovebird that were coupled. She and her husband got them from an auction. The wifebird had fractures and damaged body. I knew that the original owner didn't have patience with the female as they do bite to defend their territory. So after she got them, the wifebird died shortly leaving the husbird alone plucking. I was glad to give Angel to a good home where she would make the husbird happy and she would be living in with another couple, Bonny and Clyde. I was happy that Angel was with Sunny. Just one more week and mom will be back, right? We can't wait! Last night mom and the family celebrated Mother's Day with a lovely dinner at a Japanese restaurant. It was one of those places where the chef comes and fixes a hibachi meal with lots of flare, so it was fun to watch. Today it's another beautiful day, so after mom's tours this afternoon, I just know we'll get to go outside for awhile. She hasn't set up the fountain yet, so she may get to that today or tomorrow. She already has a base set up, so just needs to assemble and plug in the pump to get it started. We are still hoping for a few veggies, but we are out of space to plant! hope you are feeling better now...you are a great coach and we will win our share of games...it was no one's fault that we lost...we are a team and we win as a team and we lose as a team...
I have been practicing my pitching as well, got to be able to adjust better to the different sizes of the opponents...some teams like the macaws are huge and then we have the Keets and they are tiny. I am practicing throwing strikes no matter what the size of the batter...

How are u sweetie? Nothing much happened here today, except mom stayed home all day! We had a beautiful day of 78! I spent a lot of time outside today, but didn't get to drive my car, coz I don't really like to be out in the direct sun! Mom swears that I can smell when rain is coming, coz when it got real cloudy & looked like it would rain, I started freaking out & wouldn't let her take me off the porch! I ran up her arm & scrambled onto her back & told her NOOOOO, I hold on to mom's shirt, pant, & gently flap my wings, while on her back...mom calls it my rain dance I wouldn't get off her back & onto her hand until she went back inside! Mom calls Mom told me it was not raining, but I wasn't taking her word about it! I DO NOT like OUTSIDE shower baths!

...we are going to have our wings full thisFriday, the WW's ate a great team, but we are better! My daddy's checkup went pretty well, but had to have his meds readjusted, his BP was to high making him dizzy when he stands up! He must go back in three weeks for a quick re-check of things! He was really bummed for having to miss the baseball game, and it looked like good one! Congrats to Screech for joining the 10K Club! Dad has a QCPS bird club meeting this afternoon and evening, poor Arthur is going to get a nails and beak job, and I am taking bets on how much blood will be spilled, LOL! Give my love to all in your sweet home, see ya tomorrow...

Hi Sam
Our weekend is a mixed bag; mom is doing tours today and tomorrow, but it shouldn't take more than a couple of hours. Today the dogs go to the groomer, but when mom drops them off, I think she is planning on taking us all outside! YAY!! It's so pretty here, with all the flowers in bloom. The irises have started to blossom, too. Tonight, mom and her family are celebrating Mother's Day. They always wait to do that, so they aren't in crowded restaurants and being hustled to eat fast. Tomorrow, tours are in the afternoon, so again, we might get outside. I think that's all for this weekend. I hope you are having a fun weekend, and get a chance to enjoy some fantastic weather where you are, as well. DAY 17 ~ THANKS FOR THE VOTE!
DANIA'S LIFE part 9
After leaving Montreal to go home, I started researching on the Internet about lovebirds. When I was done, I decided to buy a lovebird. My dad told me I could buy one from kijiji. So the type of lovebird I chose was fischers lovebird. I looked all over kijiji but none of them lived closer to my area. So I decided to pick another type of lovebirds. The next one I chose was the peach-faced lovebird then I did research. I went one kijiji and found a bird breeder who was breeding lovebirds and budgies. She had 2 lovebirds that we're coupled, the green one was 5 months and the yellow one was 4 months. I somehow got dad to get me two birds instead of one. So we contacted the lady and went to her house. It was long trip to me to get to neapean. When we got there, the house had noisy chirping birds. The lady was handfeeding a lovebird! It was so cute and adorable. She showed me around then she showed me the two lovebirds. I brought the cage with me to the two birds inside. The lady asked "What are you going to name your new birds?" Since the green one was a boy and he reminded me of super Mario, I named him Luigi. The yellow one who was a girl, I named her Angel, because she was yellow with white flight and rump feathers so it reminded me of the sun. Hi Sam
How are u sweetie? Mom must REALLY be guilt-ridden! She's still falling all over herself to take care of my every desire! She held me & played with me until she had to leave for her Drs appt, then got me out of my cage as soon as she returned! Tho, mom was very weepy when she got back. The vet's office had called her, her precious Chloe's ashes were back, mom stopped there to pick her up. Chloe's urn is a beautiful decorator jar. Now mom has her precious Chloe back home forever!
I knew exactly how I would cheer my mom up! First, I gave her some big beakie kisses, told her LOVE U, then proceeded to tell her all about my game! MOM, WE WON OUR 1ST GAME! IT WAS REALLY CLOSE THO! THE GREYS PLAYED THEIR HEARTS OUT, & THEY ARE GOOD FRIENDS, SO AS HAPPY AS I WAS FOR US, I WAS SAD FOR THEM! Mom smiled & gave me a cuddle & some kisses, & said she was very proud of me! Not for winning, but for being a good sport & thinking of my friends' feelings!
The school across the street was having their annual carnival, so mom took me over so I could gawk at all the kids & say HI! I was a regular birdie ambassador! I was on my best behavior! I kept saying HI, did my tricks, let a bunch of kids pet me & gave out a couple kisses to a couple brave souls, but mostly to mom! Mom bought a couple pieces of pizza, so I lost interest in the crowd of people & focused on the food! Mom stuck me on her shoulder so she could carry our pizza, coz mom needs her cane to walk! I was sooooo focused on the food that I was begging on the way back to our house! I'm not sure about u little guys, but when we macaws beg, we drop our heads, flatten our bodies & "gently" flap our wings! The entire walk back, I kept saying MMMMMM in her ear, & each flap I bopped her on the same ear! When we got back into our house, she couldn't hear out of her left ear for a little while! Hehehe, but I had a great time! YES, it's another great day to be me! & yes, the pizza was delicious!

Hello Sam~
I hope you are having a wonderful day. I've got the gardeners here to watch. They are outside my window mowing the lawns! Pretty soon Mandy will be woofing to go out just because she likes to smell the fresh cut grass! Mom takes her for a walk everyday and Mandy has decided she likes to walk down to the Starbucks. Do you suppose it's the scones they sell? I always share my scones with her so maybe she figured she just go down there and get us some! I like the way she thinks!!
Mom already went to the market before I even got up! The store is open 24 hours a day. It's less crowded early in the mornings but mom has to put up with freight on the floor and the floor scrubber being used. Since she works nights at a store, she is use to that stuff.
She got me some pecans so I'm looking forward to my snack! I'll be having apples and pecans today! Yum!
I'll be supervising the chores later on and letting mom know how she should do stuff! We all know our parronts would be lost without us!!

DAY 16 ~ THANKS FOR THE VOTE!
DANIA’S LIFE part 8
Before I ever got Luigi and Angel as my pets, I used to beg every single day for a pet. Ever since I was 4, I would wine and cry for a pet. The answer I got was a no, as always. Growing up, whenever I found out one of my classmates has a pet, I would go to my parents and use it as an excuse to get a pet. Then when I was around 13, I got very jealous when I found out my uncle got a hamster for his son and daughter and my neighbor friend got a canary. Well that made my beg and cry like crazy. So after begging for 9 years, my mom got fed up of me never giving up on this topic. So she discussed with dad and she asked me, what pet do you want? Well my options were short; I wasn’t allowed to get a dog, for obvious reasons in my religion. A cat will make my parents sneeze. A reptile was out of the question, and then I remembered how I loved playing with my grandma’s budgie. I decided I wanted to get a bird. Ok, the type of pet was decided, now the type of species was the argument. I told my parents I wanted a how bird that can talk and I could cuddle with. I asked to get a big bird, then no was the answer. First of all, theres no room in my house, second, I can’t put the bird outside since it’s freezing in Canada. So my parents told me you can get a big bird in Lebanon where it’s nice and warm. Ok, so the bird was going to be smaller, but I didn’t care because I wanted a pet really badly because I wanted to hold it and play with it. So when we went to montreal one time, there was a pet store in one of the big shopping malls. I went to see it and there was a whole bunch of small and medium birds. I saw canaries up high up on the cages. And fischers lovebird, cockatiels, it was a wonderland. At first I wanted the cockatiels, but mom thought they were noisy since they were screaming when I approached them. Then I saw the doves and I thought they were lovebirds. I told my mom I wanted the doves, she said no because they are harder to take care of. My mom pointed to the real lovebirds, they were so small, but then I thought about it. How are u sweetie? Actually, it wasn't too bad being stuck in my cage, still covered & in the dark til 2:30 yesterday. Before bedtime Tuesday night, mom hung in my cage, the last one of Uncle Chuck's world-famous toys! The one that had my name spelled out...TIAMARIA! Mom is going to post a pic of what's left of my toy in my gallery! I worked it over good! So at least I had something fun to do during my unscheduled confinement period! Thanks again sweet Uncle Chuck, my toys were awesome & I thoroughly enjoyed them!
I am thoroughly enjoying mom's guilt trip! She can't do enough for me today! She's waiting on me beak & foot...even more than usual & doing & playing everything that I want to do! She even said I was having sketties & mandarin oranges for dinner! The few hours of solitary confinement was definitely worth it...considering the VIP treatment I'm receiving today! Plus, SHE hasn't left MY side all day! It was an EXCELLENT day to be me! Can't wait til the NEXT time mom screws up! Hehehe!
We've been having lovely weather here...84 yesterday, 80 today, mid 70s-80 for the next week! 40% chance of thunder BOOMS Wednesday, & 50% Thursday!

Today it's warm and sunny, and mom has to go to the museum for a tour. She still has some things to plant, so hopefully the sun and warm will last until she gets home. The CJCs play their first game today, so be at the stadium for a chance to get the prize inside! You know how CrackerJack always had a neat prize? Well, the conures will have them at some of the games this year as well. We're not saying what today's prize is, just show up at the stadium for a chance to begin collecting them all. DAY 15 ~ THANKS FOR THE VOTE!
DANIA’S LIFE part 7
When I was young, I used to visit my grandma every Friday. I would love visiting her and seeing my uncles. Usually during my visits, I used to play on the playstation 2 with my brother and my youngest uncle. In addition, I always played with my grandma’s budgie, it was american parakeet and it was blue. Since the bird didn’t have name, the only name I called it was the bird or birdie. I played with birdie every time we visited. Birdie wasn’t tame so I had many incidences were I would take out the birdie and it would start flying every where. Everyone laughed, and my dad usually had to catch the bird. But I found that birdie liked to play on my shoulder, so I had birdie on there. I used to think birdie was a boy, but it was actually a girl. My grandma liked it when I fooled around trying to get to play with birdie. She was happy that I was getting to know birdie. She loved the sound that birdie made everyday. Then my uncle to decided to place the cage on higher grounds since I always took birdie out and she would fly every where. Unfortunately, when I was 9, I came to visit my grandma and the cage wasn’t there, I asked “Where’s the bird?”. She told me, she saw birdie lie on the bottom of the cage, her time was up. My grandma was sad of her loss, it was hard for her. She missed the beautiful chirps in the morning, she really loved that bird. Birdie lived for more than 12 years. She was old and it surprised me about how active she was when I took her out. I was saddened too that birdie was gone. I missed her, and I was happy she had a family before she died. How are u sweetie? Mom is in the doghouse today because of a SERIOUS infraction! Mom had a sleepover at sissy's house last night, coz she watched her granddaughter coz sissy had to take mom's youngest grandson to Children's Hospital for an appt...poor little guy, he is 6 years old & has Celiac's Disease! Mom was going to bring Livi home with her to uncover me, but sis called & said she was almost home, to just wait then she would take Livi to preschool & mom could head home. WELLLL, she threw a fit coz she wanted her Grammy to take her to school! Of course mom caved & took her to school, but now mom didn't have time to run home to uncover me & make it back to sissy's to go & watch oldest grandson's 3rd grade program. WELLLLL, mom didn't get home til 2:30pm! Mom was upset & was afraid that I'd be very angry with her! As soon as she uncovered me, I said HI MOM, immediately gave her kisses, then looked her in the eye & called her a SILLY BIRD! I LOVE guilt trips! Parronts are such suckers when it comes to guilt trips! Hehehe! I will be firmly planted on mom's arm til I DECIDE I want to go to bed! I won't let her out of my sight tomorrow either...THEN maybe I'll let her off the hook! It's actually a lot of fun watching her type with one hand & me on the other, trying in eat the phone as she's typing! Hehehe...I LOVE paybacks!

...we cdid quite well, but it seemed like we always hit the ball where there were! Our pitching and coaching was very adequate! Lets use this game as a learning tool, and move forward! Chin up buddy, it's a long season! Today my daddy & Jen want to thank everybirdie for the honor of being selected BOTD, one more time! We have won that much desired award many times, and we never take it for granted! This, as is usually the case, was a total surprise, thank you! Are all of you guys loving this new baseball season as much as us Dallas birds! The Kommish called dad yesterday afternoon, and they had a good long talk, she has worked so hard and tirelessly to make this season happen, thanks aunt Eva! First of all, good luck in your very first game as a new coach with a new team!
Now that's out of the way, sorry, we thought you had a laptop, but mom was probably confusing your mom with someone else.
It was cold here for 2 days, with frost warnings at night, but today it's 82 degrees! Mom is hoping to plant those things she got last Friday, at last! I want to go to the game though, there are 2 good teams playing today.
This morning mom did a repeat of Monday, complete with raccoons painting themselves and their cages with food. The red tailed hawk stood between mom and its meal leftovers this morning, which she has never seen in all her years there. At noon she went to the museum to hear an assistant curator of vertebrate paleontology, Matt LaManna, talk about early birds from the Cretaceous, and learned a whole lot about our origins. It seems modern bird lines arose in Antarctica! It makes sense, the birds there were already used to harsh conditions and extended periods of dark. Anyway, it was a pretty cool lecture, and the docents might get a cast out of it! Mom asked Matt if they could have a cast of gansus for the dinosaur hall, and he said send him an email and he'd get one made!

Hi Sam
How are u sweetie? Thankfully, it's our last(?) day of cold temps! We had a high of 55 today, tomorrow will be 80! It's unbelievable that some of our westcoast friends have had record temps over 100 degrees, & we've had record temps of highs in the low 40s & freezing temps of 28-30 at night forcing mom to get her winter coat out again! For the next week our highs will be in the high 70s-80! I'll definitely get to go out & drive my car in the mornings or early evenings! Tho the weather guessers are calling for thunder booms almost every day! That's what I call thunder...BOOM! Every time it thunders, I say BOOM, & I ohhhhhhh & awwwe at the pretty lightning! I love watching God's weather shows! Tho I LOVE a nice lonnnnng shower, I freak out if I'm outside & get rained on! Showers are only fun INSIDE! I hope u had a great day, & I'll see u tomorrow!
I saw ur blog on Simon's page, that wasn't us that lost, must've been the other Macaw team. We (the MLBs) play our 1st game on Friday! Wish us luck!

DAY 14 ~ THANKS FOR THE VOTE!
DANIA’S LIFE part 6
When I was around 4, my dad was able to install a long distance plan on our home phone. It made my parents and my grandma happy that they were able to communicate with their families in Lebanon. Most times my dad would talk to his sisters on the phone and then hands the phone to me to say hi to them. My aunts loved me very much and always want to treat me. Since dad was able to communicate with them by phone, he was able to get them to visit us in the summer. So his sisters and nieces came to Canada and me and my brother had to share a room and sleeping with our mattresses on the ground, that time we didn’t have real beds. My cousins would sleep in the other room. During the night, me and my brother would get up from our bed and go to our cousin’s room. My cousins were always sleeping and everytime we came in, the youngest out of the two sisters would start crying and my parents would come and put us back into our room. We got to go out to mooney’s bay with my cousins and aunts and we would go for a walk in the park. My oldest cousins usually liked to play with my brother and my other cousin who was almost my age would love playing with me. We took photos and had a great time. Later on, they had to go back to Lebanon which was sad for us because I was going to miss my cousins. I'm one excited Kevlar Keet. We just won our first game against the Mighty Macaws - my fister Athena's team. In this case, size really didn't matter. Athena was sweet about it. She gave me a big hug, but jeesh, did she have to do that in front of every birdy??? Think I will have to have a talk with her...

We had a frost overnight, but mom covered all the new plants, so we were okay. This morning, she had 2 tours in the museum, one in dinosaurs, and one about animal adaptations. Then it was off to the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions, and finally here to blog.
Congrats to we Pois for winning the first game. Today the Kevlar Keets (Willie's team) and on Thursday the CJCs (Falco's team) are playing. We are anxious to see how the new teams perform, too.

Hi SamIAm!
I am pleased to report that I haven't bitten momma in over a week! We have been trying to work on my stepping up, but I'm still not great. I REFUSE to step off or out of my cage. I will only step up when I am away from my cage. Grandpa bought the Bird Tricks training DVD's, so mommy is using those to help. I really like going outside, I will step up really nicely out there.
I really like being scritched. If mom or grandma stop, I shake my chain to ask them to come back. But I am not allowing mommy to scritch me at the moment, because her nails are a very scary red and yellow color. She promised to take the color off for me today.

I hope everything is going great today! I decided I did not want any toast this morning so I threw it down to Mandy. That dog just loves me!!
Mom went off to the store early today. She goes down to Walmart about once a month to get soaps and stuff like that. Dad went with her so of course he bought a whole bunch of stuff too. Mom says it's scary taking him to the store and she always has to go find him when it's time to leave!
I want to wish you the best of luck tomorrow with your first game. I know you guys are ready and you are going to do great! I'll be there to watch all the excitment!!

DAY 13 ~ THANKS FOR THE VOTE!
DANIA’S LIFE part 5
When I was around 3 years old, my dad decided to go visit his family, his sisters in Lebanon. So he took me and my grandma but my mother and brother stayed behind because dad couldn’t afford more flight tickets. He wanted his sisters to meet me since I was the oldest child, and his sisters were very excited to see me, my dad and their mother; my grandma. In addition, the oldest sister out of the two, had 2 daughters, both older than me, one was 4 and the other was 7. The other sister, wasn’t married but was a hardworking teacher at a school. And so, we boarded the plane to Lebanon, and I fell asleep on the way there. When we got there, we rented a room in the same apartment as my aunts and cousins. I had fun going out with my cousins and aunts, and it was the first time meeting them. One time when we were going up the elevator to our rooms, I wanted to get chips which were in our apartment at the ground level. So when my aunts and cousins got out, I stayed in the elevator without them knowing. I pushed a random button, and the elevator went down. Then the doors opened and right in front of me was the place where they were selling chips. I got out and grabbed a bag, the casher looked at me and wondered where my family was. Out of nowhere, my dad popped right behind me and grabbed my hand and bought the chips. We headed up the elevator to our rooms. Turns out, my aunts and cousins went to our room to see dad and my dad asked: “Where’s Dania?” My aunts realized I wasn’t with them and my dad panicked. They explained that the last time they saw me was on the elevator with them. My dad rushed to the elevator to search for me, he headed for the ground level. How are u sweetie? I want to wish a belated Happy Mother's Day to ur sweet mom...that also goes for all the dads that are both mom & dad to their precious kids...be they human, furry, feathery, scaly! I hope everyone/everybirdie had a great day! Mom had such a nice time at sissy's house & spent the whole day with her 3 grandkids, tho I wasn't too happy she didn't get home til 8pm, which is my bedtime! WELLLLL, I demanded MY time with mom, so I refused to get off of her & wouldn't let her put me to bed until 10:30pm! Mom was just too tired after that to get my blogging done, only managed to get out my BOTD, BOTM & 10K blogs/votes! I fixed mom today tho! I only let her out of the house a couple times to take Sadie the wiener dog out, even then I was waiting for her at the door! The entire day I followed her everywhere she went, & made her hold me most of the day, & I sure gave mom lots & lots of kisses! I think she could use some beak stick!
The Milonga was sooooo much fun! I commend Chyna & EVERYBIRDIE ELSE that made the Derby & the Milonga such a huge success! Congrats to the Derby winners & all participants & the hat contest winners & participants! We all have wonderful homes & parronts, so each & everyone of us are winners! & a very big & sincere congrats to Kiddo & Sweetpepper on their 4th wedding anniversary! I was sooooo surprised & honored that my darling Casey & I won 2nd place in the couples hat contest! It even made my mom break out in a big smile! Thank u so much my dear friends for ur votes & congrats! A very big thank u to sweet momma Deb, who is the wonderful person who makes all of our wonderful pics...she even posts them to my page for me! How truly lucky & fortunate I am that she will soon be my momma-in-law! Sweet dreams sweetie, see u tomorrow!
