 I was looking for another cockatiel and I saw him when he was about 2 mos. old, but he was promised to someone else. About a month ago, he was still in the pet shop and the owner of the shop said I could have him because it didn't appear the other person was going to come and get him and he wanted him to go to a good home. So we brought him home.. |

Since you are local I just thought I would mention:
Cheeky came from a pet store but PeeWee was adopted from M.A.R.S (Melbourne Avian Rescue Sanctuary). If you are not familiar with them, try to visit sometime. They are usually open on Saturday as well as a couple of days a week. Check their facebook page for opening information:

They do wing & beak clipping, boarding, birdie boot camp & more plus the owner is always happy to answer questions and give advice to fellow bird owners.
