Hi Annie and Bing. Yes I am an Omar's bird, actually my buddies here are as well. The Cockatiel Oreo however flew into my owners garage 9 years ago and he's been here ever since. Rascal the grey is 3 years old, Rocket the blue-front is 1 1/2 and I am the baby or the new guy in town. So far so good, there was a little jealousy at first but i am trying to win them over. It seems to be working. I do however like to be out of my cage more than in it and I am getting used to my owner being at work most of the day so we play alot when she gets home. Come visit me, Oreo, Rascal, Riley & Rocket.

Hello Annie
Another nice day here in Maine. Our summers are pretty short, so we have to take advantage of every nice day we have! My mom had a yard sale last weekend, and she wheeled my cage out onto our little covered porch, and everyone came up and said hello to me. It was fun. And I would make all kinds of sounds for them. I would make the back-up beep, and they would all look around. :) It was great. I have blocks with letters hanging on my cage that say 'LESTER' so they all knew my name. I'm a little nervous around new people, so I wouldn't say much at first, but usually when they would start to walk away, I'd start saying things, and they'd turn around and look at me, and come back. They'd say all kinds of things, and I wouldn't reply, then they'd start to walk away again and I'd say something like 'Hey, how you doing?' or 'Bye!' and they'd laugh. It was great fun. I was in such a good mood, I didn't even try to bite the little kid that stuck his fingers in my cage to try to get my toy. My mom kind of panicked and said 'oh, hey, don't do that!' but I was good. I was such a big hit that mom gave me lots of treats during the day. I wish we could have a yard sale every day!
Well, I'd best be going. I there is a large truck in the field across the road and I need to alert the neighborhood. :)

another lovely, and HOT day here in sunny florida. We're suppose to be up in the HIGH 80's by noon with no sigh of it getting any coolder for at least a week, then mid 80's, if thats a break. We're really EGGcited about getting our little pin feather. As soon as we get the DNA TEST results, we'll probably put up his own page, and get his pictures off my page. ...hello again lovely lady, it was great to see you on my page, you are very pretty, but I imagine you hear that all the time from all the fellas! I am still settling in with my dad, I was cage bound for five years and I am relearning my social skills, but my daddy just loves me to pieces, he is so very patient with me and never yells at me or makes any aggressive movement towards me! We play and work together every day sometimes for many hours at a time! Sister LaLo is very tame and she is just a sweetie with everybody, but the folks that cared for me when my first daddy got real old and sick were afraid of me!
