Long story short, one of my closest friends rescued them but discovered soon after bringing them home that they were not for her. She said they were too noisy, and although I already had one, and hadnt planned to get another [or two] I decided that I would at least "take them in" till a suitable home could be found. Well it turns out the suitable home was right here. My daughter fell absolutely in love with them and has spoiled them rotten. My friend said since she loved them so, she could keep them, as a birthday gift, so Meesha and Marie have joined our flock. What a blessing. Awards

Hi! My name is Meesha [and Marie]

I am a Peach-Faced Lovebird from Lewiston, ME.

Meesha and Marie do not like being seperated at all, although once they get past the "oh my god my sister is missing" stage, they do fine and actually enjoy their human time.

She plays with us and spoils us rotten and even lets us out when her big mommy says no.

Both birds LOVE running across the livingroom floor and "bouncing" off the walls only to keep going like a wind up toy. Its hilarious to watch and keeps us amused for hours..

"if you cant find me, Im under the couch" Meesha
"If its quiet come find me" Marie
