 I'M A GIRL!...for sure...DNA results came back 9/4.
My new Mom found me listed in the classified ads while looking for something else, my ad caught her eye and after contacting my old Mom, funny thing....it seems New Mom and Dad KNEW OLD MOM and DAD already! Our meeting went smoothly, I showed off for the new parronts and before you knew it I was going for a car ride to my new house. My old Mom loves me dearly but has 2 little baby humans now and she feared I had been ignored since they arrived and thought it would be best if I went to a place where I could get lots of attention. My new Mom says she couldn't be happier with me....and thanks my old Mom for doing such a good job raising me.. |

DUCKY!
What's happening in your world these days? I know there bound t'be an exciting story or two... or three what with you and Rio combining your Macaw talents to amuse and amass the laughs. Not a whole of humor going on here, just the same ol' same ol' which I get the feeling my mom's okay with. Anything wild and that means somebody's gettin' hurt! (We've had a safe winter save for a couple of parakeets with minor injuries. Of course now that I've said that, I might as well get out the first aid kit and be ready for an emergency, right?)

Things good with you? Keepin' that beak entertained okay? Mine's been on a real wood chompin' jag. I've made so many piles of wood chips, mom's been scoopin' them up and using them as mulch around the big potted plants in my room. Sorta feels like I'm kind of earnin' my keep a little.

Yes, I love visit too. The mailman is slow at posting visitors. I try to visit friends daily. I am glad that you got to live in a home with lots more attention. We need it. Your first Mom did something very loving. She let you go to a place better for you. Too many keep us when they don't want us or life becomes too busy. I am happy in my new forever home too.

They sent me a 8x10 glossy o’ th’ official pic when RanePlayer accepted th’ Talon League Champeenship Trophy on b’half o’ the team (‘cause Yours Truly got conned int’ bein’ th’ on t’ DO th’ presentin’!) AND a really CooL trophy for each of us t’ have an’ keep for our very own! That’s B’SIDES th’ Talon League Trophy that’s gonna get t’ sit in our Team’s Trophy Case for th’ next whole year … AT LEAST! Hey hey ~ it’s Friday!!!! Gotta tell you – I am very excited about that!!! Mom and I usually have a special Friday night movie event with popcorn and peanuts. We are watching “RIO” tonight … the story of a bird that makes a break for it on the outside world. Hope I don’t get any ideas!!! LOL So, what’s new and exciting with you? I’ve been enjoying the nice weather we are having and spending my days watching the kiddie channel “Sprout” until the mom gets home from work. This Saturday she is all excited to see her nephew play football. He is 12 and already a giant! Then Saturday night her and dad are going to see the Chicago White Sox play. Glad your hatch day turned out great too! Last night dad left me out to gather some paper in my tail feathers and fly around a bit. I decided to sit on Gus play gym and he wasn’t in bed and covered up for the night. He came out and tried to chase me away and I just sat there since I think I am a big bird too. Then he went on his cage and finally came back on the play gym and we beaked each other till dad chased me off Gus play gym..hmpppttt. “Matilda is a mule in the mine. There, I told HER. She shouldn't have kept me away from the BC for so long. Eight days and countin'. Are you really serious about the vet guy asking if you've been abused and neglected? Geez, Ducky. Talk about lack of bedside manners! Sounds like a good time t've said, "Yeah, just now, Buster." I'm havin' a closer look at your earlier pictures (and enjoyin' every minute of it)- it don't look to me like you're on the lackluster side but then, this is a guy the opinion's comin' from, right? If you get any more beautiful, I won't be able to stand it! But go ahead, try me. *grin* Somethin' tells me when you do go in for that yearly check-up, you're gonna hear 'WOW!' ...I have not forgotten my lovely friend Ducky, not for one second! I have been very busy lately what with trying to avoid the Commissioner, who wants to roast me over an open fire like a hog, and go to AA meetings, but all things considered I'm doing quite well, but this is not about me it's about you! I hope those folks who you have adopted, will at least run out and buy you a few gifts, and I hope my aunt Dawn will bake you a very nice cake, I'm thinking along the lines of a nice carrot cake, and please set a piece aside for me, I will sneak in and get it after lights out and don't worry about the doors being locked, they have never been a barrier to me yet! You are so beautiful, and today I hope all of your dreams come true, there is just something magically sweet about you Green Wings, I have sat next to lovely Ruby and lovely Reba and I have become great friends with beautiful Bella, and Canadian Marley! Despite my reputation I love all birds and I'm so impressed with view larger ones, I have spent hours sitting next to RaneBeau and Reba, and it is impossible not to notice their huge beak!
