I had one cockatiel for about 14 years that was all alone. I was told that more than one in the same cage would turn them wilder. I bought two White-Faced brothers to add to my single Cinnamon, this being one of the brothers, and now after five Coclatiels in the same cage, I can say that they are the best of friends, and all enjoy each others company a great deal. They all have a flocking instinct and are aware when others are missing..

Active within 882 Days Hi! My name is Clyde I am a Cockatiel from Orange, CA. 10 years old M Cockatiel Millet Sprays and Honey Sticks. The food bowl. Fighting for roosting rights at the nightly roosting. He likes to be the first one to eat. When he takes me out, he holds me in the palm of his hand, upside down with my feet up in the air, and tells people that I am his Cockatiel "Baby". I am very trusting of him, that is why I let him hold me this way. We have a great relationship. He likes to preen my moustache when I take him out. And I recently put in a wooden nesting box, and he thinks another male I have is the mom, and he bobs his head up and down a lot of the day and makes noise near the box with the other male being in the nesting box, as if he is trying to regurgitate food for babies...oh, well.... .
