 I've loved parrots since I was a kid was thinking of getting a parrot after reading an issue of Bird Talk magazine. I had been leaning towards getting a conure, but when I saw the batch of Quakers at the breeder I fell in love with this guy! He came right over to me and just seemed so mellow and friendly. I hadn't considered a Quaker, but he sort of picked me out and I knew he was the perfect bird for me!. |

Chilies!!!! Blackberries, blueberries, corn, pistachios, peanuts, peas.
 Dad's shoulder! Dad's lap, the top of the sofa, on top of my cage, on my perch in the living room.
 I don't like being left alone on my perch for even a second!
 He gives great neck scratches, he takes me in the shower with him almost every morning, he has very nice friends that I like to meet, he lets me play with his rings and I love when he takes me with him to grandmas house!
 I like to take things out of one bowl on my perch and put them in the other. I love to nibble shiny things like rings, the tv remote and dad's mobile phone, but if you put shiny things like that in my cage I'll probably ignore them!.

You're cute. My name is Cheyenne and I'm a Meyer's Parrot. Mommy calls me her Miss Attitude Bird just cause I want ALL of her attention. So what's wrong with that? Want to be Friends? Please come see me and my Flock sometime cause we love getting company. My Mom likes Quaker's also but we live in Pennsylvania and we can't have them here. She says that's so stupid!
