 I decided to get a buddy for Danny, when I saw the photo of this little guy from my breeder I just knew he was the one. He looks yellow and green but he is actually a Dominant Pied Olive Green Split for ino and Cinnamon, so very cute. He's not home with us since he's not weaned yet and he won't be coming home until about the middle of this month (September) and I can't wait have him home. His mom and dad are still feeding him and in-between is being hand-fed by the breeder.. |

Momma bird here!
My house is getting full! Hopefully we will be getting a bigger one soon, because I've just been volunteered to take in a naked Hahns Macaw! I don't know for sure if he will be coming home with me or not, but I'm going to meet him tomorrow. From what little I've heard, the poor thing has a sad past and was abused =( And he is getting to be too much for his owner to handle I guess, because she doesn't know how to make him better, and it's breaking her heart. Maybe he'll do better in my home as I never give up on my babies no matter how damaged they are.
Had a really good weekend, the best I've had in awhile since I got pregnant, went out to Ihop and visited some pet stores, played with a Cockatoo, and got some new toys and treats for the birds. Foraging boxes! Great things those are! I highly reccomend them for anyone who's got destructive or bored birds. Keeps Ichi quiet and entertained for hours! And the bird bath spray seems to be a hit as well. It's got natural preening gland oil, bird safe cleansers, and anti itch stuff for molting birds.

Looks like we are still getting the pair of Sun Conures, and Mom is going to meet the lady on the 26th! AND Mom just found out she's pregnant! Our family is gettin huge! you reminded me of a Budgie I had when being a teen. He was sick tho and didn´t stay with us for very long. He, like you was very pretty.
