`Ü´ *It has been quite an eventful week, and
Ruby feels that she has been quite neglectful of her duties as part owner of The Flower Shop, while Miss Alex has never complained once about picking up all of her slack.
So she decides that she should do something to make it up to her Featheriend and dials Miss Alex's cell phone and leaves her the following Voice Mail ...
"Miss Alex ... Good Morning! I thought I would surprise you this morning with the news that you are to take the weekend off, and spend your time enjoying it with your dad and your flockmates. I am more than happy to step in and try to make up for all the time I was away from The Shop this week due to the Opening of The Birdie BazeBol Season, and all of Momma's and our Flock's involvement in the many number of games this week.
I will feel much easier knowing that you are able to have some time to enjoy relaxing and enjoying the weekend off. And I know your daddy will be glad to relax a bit as well, after his debut as a new Umpire this Season.
I shall look forward to seeing you come Monday morning!"
After Ruby has left the message for Miss Alex she goes about setting up The Flower Shop for the day's business, including the flowers and plants on the sidewalk in front of The Shop as the sky clears and looks to be a wonderfully sunny day .... *Come visit me, `Ü´ Ruby Francesca ~ Major League Left Field Beak!.

`Ü´ Greetings and Good Morning Miss Alex!
I see you are just about finished with setting everything up this morning. Here, let me help you with the last of the flowers for out on the sidewalk ....
*Ruby and Alex load up the cart with an abundace of both potted plants and crocks of fresh cut blossoms for display on the sidewalk out in front of The Flower Shop. When they have finished, Ruby sits down with Alex for a quick cup of Tea.*
I don't mean to desert you today, Miss Alex. But I will need to leave for The Stadium when we finish our Tea. My Team, The Major League Beaks, play against my frother Sidney's Team, The Grey't Grey Wings. So I shall want to get to The Stadium and begin warming up as soon as possible. Momma is waiting outside, with said frother in the car, for me to finish helping you so she can take us both to The Stadium for pre-game practice.
It is also your dad's first Game to Umpire, isn't it? How eggsciting!!! I shall be back later this afternoon, so if you and Miss Muffin get barraged with orders, do not panic. I will be available after the game for whatever comes in.

`Ü´ *Ruby arrives at The Flower Shop
in plenty of time to begin setting out the flowers on the sidewalk in front of The Flower Shop as Miss Alex did yesterday.
The next cartful from the cooler in the back room is the crocks of fresh cut flowers and pre-made arrangements for the sales area in the front of The Shop.
Once all of the flowers are out, Ruby begins setting up the Customer Service Counter.

Alex arrives at the flower shop
for a Tuesday.
It's a warm sunny day so Alex sets out the sidewalk displays first and then sets up the shop for the day's business. Then she starts a pot of tea for her, Ruby and Muffin.
Pearl comes to the door of the flower shop and shouts, "Is Muffin here?" We got practice and our first game today. I'm on my way to the stadium now."

To pick up your order, do the following:
Go to The Pretty Rose Flower Shop, Page 188440 and scroll down to the picture gallery. You will see your order reciept, followed by your order. Your order may be on more than one page. Be sure to check all pages in the picture gallery.
To get your order, do the following:
1. Click on the image to open to full size.
2. Right click on the image to bring up the sub menu.
3. Click on "Save Picture As" and choose a location to save the image.
OR,
4. Simply copy the image and paste the image where ever you wish.
Do the same for all images.
Images will remain posted for one week. At that time, your order will be moved to a file folder. If you wish to reorder the same item, just let us know and we will repost it.

`Ü´ *Ruby arrives at The Flower Shop
and begins setting up for opening before she loses her "voice" until later in the afternoon.
Today is Opening Day for Birdie BazeBol, and Momma is totally tied up helping frother Jake with his emceeing the Opening Ceremonies, and annoucing the Game, and she is Umpiring today! This after working on all the administrative functions she was responsible for to get the Season set to start.

`Ü´ *After a bit of a crunch
to make sure that Mr Casper's order for Miss Oz was delivered, Ruby breathes a sigh of relief as she works at closing The Flower Shop for the night.
She takes it at an easy pace to be sure she doesn't forget anything given that her brain hasn't seemed to be functioning very clearly today, outside of the tutorial that held so much of her attention.
When everything is put away, she turns off the lights in the front of The Shop and leaves through the front door, turning the sign in the window to read "Closed for the Day" and jiggling the door after she has locked it to be sure the lock is set.*Come visit me, `Ü´ Ruby Francesca ~ Major League Left Field Beak!.

Scroll down to the Picture Gallery here at the bottom of The Pretty Rose Flower Shop Page (188440). You will see your order receipt followed by your order. Your order may be on more than one page so be sure to check all pages in the picture gallery.
To take delivery on your order, do the following:
1. Click on the image to open to full size.
2. Right click on the image to bring up the sub menu.
3. Click on "Save Picture As" and choose a location to save the image.
OR,
4. Simply copy the image and paste the image where ever you wish.
Do the same for all images.
Images will remain posted for one week. At that time, your order will be moved to a file folder. If you wish to reorder the same item, just let us know and we will repost it.

`Ü´ *Ruby has been in the back room
of The Flower Shop since opening time this morning. However, instead of unlocking the door and turning the sign in the front window, as is her usual procedure, she sat down for her customary cup of tea before unlocking, loaded a Florist's Tutorial into the computer in Miss Alex's office and became so engrossed in the lesson that she completely forgot about the front of The Shop!
It is now well into the afternoon and, though she has learned an immense amount from the tutorial, she has failed miserably at taking care of the business of minding The Shop!!!
She rushes out to the front of The Shop to unlock the door and turn the sign in the window to read "OPEN for Business!" when she realizes that Mr Casper has been by and left an order for Miss OZ.*
Oh dear! Oh Dear!! Oh DeaR!!! OH DEAR!!!! This is a disaster! This simply cannot happen! Miss Alex will never be able to trust me to take care of The Shop alone again after this!
*And Ruby snatches up the note with the order on it and carries it to the back room where she begins working furiously on it to get it out before closing time.*Come visit me, `Ü´ Ruby Francesca ~ Major League Left Field Beak!.

`Ü´ Greetings and Good Morning Miss Alex
and Miss Muffin!
Once again, I am late arriving for work. And once again, I must give the "credit" to Momma. She has just been innundated with the preparatory work for the Opening of Birdie Baze~Bol Season next Monday. And just yesterday, Jake received a request to officiate for a Birdy Wedding on facebook! This when Momma is trying her utmost to recover from a period of feeling very ill.
She has a terrible headache today as well (which, I suppose, is a good part of the reason she did not remember that I needed to be brought to work). She just seems to be having a very difficult time overcoming whatever this malidy is that is plagueing her.
But I will be here tomorrow to cover The Shop. Daddy is home to take care of Momma so I do not need to be concerned for her or the rest of the flock in my absence.
