 He was my Mother's bird and she passed away 10 years ago and then when my Dad passed away we adopted him a few months ago. We couldn't see him going to anyone else but us. We love him so much. I love sitting and watching him. My husband & I are going to give Cody Love and Care like my Mom & Dad did. I only hope that were doing all the right things for him.. |

It's Beowulf again! Have left you a vote and humbly ask that you fly by my site today to vote for me. I'm a candidate for BOTD tomorrow, which has me so excited that I can barely keep my chest feathers together! Sure would appreciate your support. hi Cody,
I am a white capped Pionus, I love raw corn-on-the-cob! apple is good too, but us birds like the kind that is not too sweet. Sometimes I will eat a slice of banana with the skin washed and left on. I am the most picky of the flock. My most favorite is Zoopreem pellets but I only get those in the evening as I will not eat the fresh stuff if I have them all day. I like nuts for a treat but our Mom does not feed seeds, only pumpkin sometimes. Just keep trying all kinds of veggies and fruit, plain cooked pasta and cooked beans too. It's me, Beowulf! I fairly new to BC, too, and am also a Maxi. (I recently turned 2.) You seem like a very nice fellow and, well, you are a Maxi, which makes you special. Welcome to the BC. I really hope you have a great time here! There is lots of stuff to do and so may great birds to meet. You should check out the Calendar Page cause it has a list of all the points of interest here on the BC and you can meet Kelly--the bird who runs the calendar page--and have her put you on the hatchday list!
