Kiwi here. HAHAHAHAHAHA Oh YES! That would be such fun to see. Bet your mom hides the camera just so you guys can't learn how to work it. The only real fun we get around here is when mom takes our old seed out to the outside birds and the cows out back see her. They come over and start bawling for some old bread she may have. She can't stick her head out much before they see her either. I'm starting to moo. Not as funny as your mom chasing to get the shovel back for sure. But for city life we got it pretty good with a pasture out back.
We didn't get the snow they said was coming...it just went around us. We do have MOUNTAINS to protect us from the worst of the storms. You know what they are? They're real high and I mean real high mounds of rock and dirt with trees on them. Mom says it's like the Turtle mtns but much bigger. That's what mom missed most when she lived in Hebron. She missed mountains, real ones. When they moved from Mt. Pleasant, Ut to Hebron, they moved from sitting at 6,000' at the base of an 11,000' mtn to the flats and she missed all that.
Mom had to email Lisa and tell her about Kemo and his demanding dry toast in the mornings. And since that was started we demand ours even though he's gone. Humans are sooooo easy to train! Uh Oh, mom's coming back in better get this off. Huey and Flock
Kiwi here. Yeah, dad's been telling us how bad you guys have it up there. He still has family in Hebron. Mom's glad she isn't up there. We're all pretty thankful too. It's been a screwy winter everywhere. Our skin sis in Moab, Ut says they've been super cold and they've got LOTS of snow...at least for them....around 2'. Then our skin sis in North Carolina is super cold too. They're expecting ice storms tonight and tomorrow. We're to get snow here for a couple of days and back to rain. Quite unusual for here.
It's been a rough day for mom...one of the therapy finches died last night from egg binding and today Kemo left to live with Lisa for the rest of his fostering. He didn't want to leave any more than mom wanted to give him up, but dad just couldn't cope having a big bird like that wanting him when he already has me and Sophie to fight over him. hahaha Mom is promised a baby blue conure when they make their arrival. It won't be for some time tho. She'll be able to finish the feeding and really bond with it. She just has to figure out if she wants a dark or ice blue. Hard choice.

Kiwi here. Hey love the book. Mom is working on Sly's then the rest of us get to get one.
What's your weather like up there? We've actually gotten some rain!! Since Sunday we've got nearly 2" which is a lot for here since we usually only get 7" a year. Today is supposed to be the last one of this storm and then we warm up to normal temps. Fine with us that's for sure.

WOW Minot! Mom knows where that is. She lived in Hebron for a while. She says she much prefers it down here where the winters are much easier to cope with. And she can make snow balls!!
