 Unfortunately Joy was also a bird who's previous owner passed away. She was very bonded with her and struggles daily awaiting her return. Joy is a comical bird and although she loves company, she doesn't want to be touched...its okay she is safe here and hopefully will learn to love again.. |

Apples are my favorite, then cauliflower, grapes, peanuts, sometimes sweet potatoes.
 oh I love to hang out on top of my cage, on occassion I go underneath to see what kind of treats I dropped during the day.
 I will not let anyone touch me, I want my own space~end of story. I do not like cats, cannot stand them in fact I will call for them "here kitty kitty" just so I can bite em!
 I'm not sure if I love her yet or not... I however enjoy her company she likes to make silly noises and dances for me. I've taken an interest in clicker training here, when she says something that I do I click for her (for the owner) it's backwards but fun, I enjoy it :)
 I like to throw my bowl off the top of my cage and yell for "apples" I also get a kick out of making the smoke detector alarm at 2am. One time, just for fun I mimicked the alarm clock on a saturday...haha what fun it was to see everyone scramble around in confusion!.
 Shut up, get outta here! oh and if you can bring me some apples..

Welcome to the BC. I was reading your story.That's very sad that your first owner passed away. It sounds like you and your flock mates found a wonderful new home with a mom who sounds very caring,loving and patient. Give her a chance, I think your going to fall in love with her eventually. ;)
You seem like a lot of fun to be around. I was laughing at the story about the smoke detector alarm..heehee
That's pretty comical ;) My 1st mom passed away right after she gave me to my new mom and dad. I was only 9 months old when she passed and I know she did the right thing by finding me my new home.
