Welcome. I've never seen a hawk head in person. I think they are fascinating. Here's a vote for you.

Come visit me, Holly.

  Hey Dunken
Thanks for getting back with me. I never listen to people when they say a particular species doesn't make a good pet. Every bird is different, and just because someone may have a bad experience with one bird doesn't mean the whole species is like that. That I do understand very much after have having parrots around since I was just 3 years old. I'm really starting to learn that inspite of species differences, alot of parrots are very much alike. Like for instance my new Hahn's reminds me alot of my Blue-Crowned Conure, and a friend's Quaker reminded me alot of my Conures. That really tripped me out at first! I don't know if I'll ever have a Hawk Head, mainly because with my rescues, I don't really get the chance to pick out a particular species, but it would be cool to have one some day. Definately beautiful birds!

  Welcome to BC!
How is owning a Hawk Head? I've never owned one before, only saw one once in person, and I'm curious about them. Here's a vote =]

  Hi Dunken
You are the most beautiful bird. I have seen a parrot like you at our pet store in San Diego. This bird has been sold to the store and seems real unhappy. You seem like a nice bird. I wonder if the Hawk Parrot can be tamed and you....come visit us sometime..Tiki, Wiki, and Miki

Come visit me, Tiki, Miki & Wiki.
