 I rescued him from his home that was in a cold, dark garage. I believe fate brought us together. The plan was to find him a good home since I knew nothing about birds and didn't want to add another pet to the house because of my schedule but after just one day I just couldn't let him go! Maybe it was the way he clung to my shoulder, right up against my neck or how at night he tried to get all tangled in my hair to go to sleep or just how he looked up at me with those beautiful little eyes...
I just had to keep him. He's my baby now along with Squishy (the ferret). Even though he is still scared of almost everything, he has been slowly coming out of his shell and with continued patience & love, will continue to do so.. |

Hi! My name is Cheeks
I am a Green-Cheeked Conure from Bensalem, PA.

Honey teddy grahams and anything cold and sweet like ice cream which I beg for but cannot have.
 Mommys shoulder and head. If it was up to me, I would hang out no where else.
 - Going to sleep in my cage.
- Not having sunflower seeds available 24/7. I know, I know I have to eat those healthy pellets :)
- Mommy not being home 24/7.
 - She doesn't keep me caged at all until night time, when I have to go to sleep.
- She gives me unconditional love and lets me hang out on her shoulder all day when she's home.
- She doesn't get annoyed at all with my temper tantrums, screaming and occasional biting that takes off a piece of her skin :)
 - Hanging upside down.
- Throwing my pellets all over the floor because I don't want to eat them.
- Doing a little happy dance when mommy arrives home..
 I always get what I want, when I want it. Well almost always :)

Hello Cheeks
Nice to meet you. Feather is just about 15 yrs old because i bought her around March of 1996. She is still so active at her age. IF you want to see her in action i have videos out on her. Like tomarrow a video should post on her and i forgot what i called it probably "feather climbing out of her cage" but if you click onto video you would see its by Sheri T. or you can type in "my cute cockatiel" to see a 6 minute video i did on her that is on 3rd page and then if you clicked onto the Sheri T. it shows you all my 5 videos on her so far.Come visit me, FEATHER.

I'm glad your Mommy rescued you. You deserve a good home. My Mommy hates people who abuse Animals or Babies she says there's a place in hell for them! Anyway, my name is Cheyenne and I'm a Meyer's Parrot. I have a Sister, Oz who's a Rose Breasted Cockatoo and my Mommy is her 3rd owner and she says Oz is now in her Forever Home. We also have 2 Brothers, Parker is an English Keet and Apache the Baby (he's just 5 months old) is a White Face Cockatiel. Please stop by and see us sometime cause we love company.
