I would keep coming over to daddy for attention, after awhile daddy fell in love with me. And one day I came home to live with my new family.MY HATCH DATE IS:6/2/2005. |

Happy Hatchday Gunner!
Sam comes in with the Scruffy Bird Band helping them with the equipment! Sam says "Hi, Gunner" and Sam carrys all the microphone stands and mikes to be set up. Next all the Scruffy Birds come followin' Sam with all the musical instruments that they have. Sam gives all the equipment places to be plug in and soon every bird is in their place. Sam looks at the soundbird, Chipper Chickadee, for the toe up and he finally gets it. Some of the Scruffy Birds start to "twang" their instuments. Sam goes to the center mike and looks at Chipper who gives the toe up. Sam cues the band.....

The electric guitars and synthasizer hums to a quiet end when suddenly through the front door of Gunner's home flies open with an umbrella cockatoo pulling & a large greenwing macaw pushing a motel luggage cart through the door! They come in so quickly because they have roller skates on their feet! The cockatoo yells out "One Party to GO!!" The motel luggage cart is filled with Birday cupcakes of every birdy flavor! Cornbread muffins, strawberry muffins, blueberry muffins, and of course, banana nutbread muffins. Streamers and balloons are filled with helium and are tied off in huge bunches and they bobble around. The balloons have "GUNNER'S Happy Hatchday Celebration!" written on the sides of each balloon. Party hats await being chosen for the "Silly Hat Contest" by the TC Patio flock. There are oodles of presents and tons of special bagged favors for all the guests that have come to help Gunner celebrate! Sam comes forward as do the Scruffy Birds and they make a line. Sam then says, Happy Birday, Gunner! We hope you have many many more!
The Scruffy birds head back to their positions while Sam goes to Gunner "Gunner, you are a dandy bird! Have a wonderful Hatchday/Birday. So happy to hear from you guys! Can't wait to hear about the baby Macaw....and see pictures ~ We're having temps in the upper 90's & 100's.....so hot! Did you notice that mom figured out I was a girl this past April when I presented her with my first egg on April Fool's Day, and two more after that? I think that just about put her into shock because she was so sure I was a boy...NOT! :-) Anyway, have a great weekend! &hearts!

Last evening mom and dad went to watch skin grand daughter and her team play a softball game. They sure were excited because they won and the score was 8 to 16. Mom and dad have been in and out all day here.
