Goodness, we have heard that tomato juice really does help to mask the skunk smell, what do you think? Yep, the heat here is unbearable at times but thank goodness for air conditioning. Today Mom made me stay locked in my cage cause they opened the windows and doors and turned on the ceiling fan. Mom is afraid I will fly but I don't really know how although I guess if I were frightened I could. Mom won't take chances until she can get me to a vet to trim my wing feathers.

Hi Buddy
I sure do miss visiting on BC. It is kind of lonesome around my house for me. My parronts are right there but so busy that they have little time for me. But in Mom's defense when she gets a minute I get to ride or sit on her shoulder. I get so excited that I immediately leave her a not so little present. She doesn't like that and I try not to do it, but you know us birds.
Tonight mom was cleaning currents to make some jelly so while there was no cooking in the kitchen I got to sit with her for a short while but she doesn't trust me for very long. Guess that's my own fault.
Sorry to hear your mom is having a difficult time finding what she is looking for in a place. That happens sometimes but patience wins out if there is time for it. You must be in the middle of that heat wave that they are having in the east. I'm glad I'm here, even if it did get very hot today. Mom forgot to spray me she was so busy.
Today she was running everywhere. Trying to get the yard watered, although she said it seems the more she waters it the dryer it gets. Now that doesn't make sense! Then mom realized that her currants were going to get too ripe and couldn't wait another day but she was busy trying to get all the monthly reports out for the business meeting at her church tomorrow. She had to tell Dad to fend for himself - poor mom just grabbed things on the run - not good for a diabetic.

Good to hear from you. So sad that I am off the grid so much but my poor mom. First it's crazy computer problems, then it's setting up a whole new system and network and trying to get all the yard work for the park done. They are so busy this weekend - we are full and that has never happened before. Mom had to handle all the incoming guests herself cause Dad got called away to do a shuttle. Mom says she is going to sleep for two days when this is over, but I know she won't.
Hope you are having a great Memorial Day Weekend. Mom was surprised that there was no service in the little City park for the Veterans. We have a monument there!

Good to say hi again. Mom got a new computer and things will soon be back to normal, we hope. Course there's lots of catch up to do first.
Sure hope you are in a nice safe area and not anywhere near all these storms we are having. Lately I have been a little adventurous. Mom would like me to be flighted but she is also very nervous about it. But I am so use to not being able to fly - I'm not sure I want to. Every once in a while tho, I will take off but have trouble with my wing control. I did make it over to the window the other day and that was fun - then glad when mom put me back on my cage.
Oh yeah - I want to start a question that maybe someone will know the answer. Mom has checked the web but no definitive answer. They are advertising a new type of non-stick cookware called OrGREENiC and YoshiBlue. They say it is non-toxic, but for hoomans - nothing about fids. Wonder if anybody has any input on that???

My you get more beautiful each day. And we could be twins. We don't get on BC much anymore because still having computer problems. Mom knows we need a new one but that isn't in the cards right now she says. Maybe I should go to the Library at least it would be peaceful.

Evening greetings! Now I know that I have been offline for a looonnngg time, and I apologize. Mom's work schedule is starting to lighten up. It is sure great to say that I will be online for a while for all I know.
Anyways, I really hope you are not mad at us for not being on here, we will surely make it up to you! Here in Delaware, it is really cloudy, and we have been having sprinkles of rain. The weather report suggests that we will have a cloudy, but sunny day tomorrow...we sure do hope.
Mom got new flowers in her garden. I am so stoked about the beautiful colors...they seem so tasty! Last week, dad was talking to mom and had me on his leg while he sat in the van, and I was totally in aw. When dad first sat down in the back of the van, I was scrambling all around, but finally I caught sight of mom and was so happy. I saw her dig a big hole in the dirty and set the flowers nicely in the dirt. I try and do it, (except for the flower setting part) but I get in trouble...must be something about the dirt.
We here is a quick vote and visit for you today, its good to see you again buddy!! Rome says "hi." No literally he just said "hi." Hehe!

I know what it's like when Mom's get new jobs. So busy for a time till things settle down. Mom started anew internet business - then decided that was just not her cup of tea - at least not that one. So she cancelled the entire thing. Doesn't mean she'll have any more me time cause she is having to do so many other things now. Maybe some day she can slow down.
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving with lots of treats. Hope also that you are really staying warm in your area. Not sure if you have much cold weather there cause we have never been there. Mom and Dad have traveled and lived in an RV for years before they got their own RV park but they never could seem to get anywhere east. The furtherest east they have ever traveled is Louisiana.

My goodness - what a meal. Mom use to give me chicken bones (well the larger of the wing bone anyway - cause that was what something mom read advised) but I kept throwing them on the floor cause the dog wanted them. But mom says the dog definitely cannot have chicken bones. Now when she gives me one, she closes my cage door so I can't throw it out, but that frustrates me so I don't eat. Kinda like a merry-go-round.
But I get fresh veggies every morning with my pellets, a seed treat, and definitely Dad gives me my three 1/2 pieces of unsalted peanuts. Of course mom always gives me extra's of whatever but I am so fussy.
I do love Birdie Banquet tho.

It is so good to hear from you again. I do hope whatever going on in your life is not a bad or sad thing. I know my mom gets soo busy that she just doesn't have time to put me on the computer - she hogs it all the time. Then is too tired for me.
We have been very busy this summer and miss quite a bit of time but we think about all our birdie friends and talk about them. I am looking forward to winter so we have some fun time.

Greetings Paco, how are you on this fine Thursday? I have missed you so much. Today I am going outside to get some fresh air, and see some other birds at a bird store mom takes me to every Thursday now, sometimes Rome comes but..he's boring, hehe. Well, thats it for me today. The weather here is nice, so I am enjoying it to the fullest. Today is supposed to be partly cloudy...so the weather report suggests. Hope you weather is making you happy.

I would like to personally thank you for coming to my party. I hope you had as much fun as I did. :)
I had so much fun it took me a day or two to recooperate from all that fun. :) I especially enjoyed riding the dolphins, Flipper and Fliphim. I was scared at first but then Cookie reassured me it was safe and they are his friends so I was fine after that. I also didn’t know that the party page was voted BOTD, my Uncle SamIam told me the next day. But I was still very tired and didn’t get to see it.
Thanks again for coming and thank you for all the well wishes and many many prayers for my full recovery. I believe mom said that I’m not weasing anymore and that maybe a miracle happened and that I am breathing thru both nares. How wonderful is that. :)

Yes I see your bell its cute! ;) sorry you missed the party, I wasn't sure if any bird would show up because of that virus. But they did and it was fun! We had so much food and excitement it was unreal. I was so tired it took me a day or two to recooperate from it.
But not to worry I saved you some of moms pineapple cake and a goodie bag.
Everybirdie got a goodie bag unless they forgot to take one before they left.

Good to hear from you. I went to Sally's Comin Out Party yesterday and had such a good time. Rode the Porpoise called Flipper but had to go before I could ride Flippim. Really got wet especially when Flipper would dive - but he didn't go deep and I held my breath. It was such fun - almost like when mom holds me and waves her hand around the room.
No only plants mom got was a couple tomato plants. I can't crawl around those - don't think they are good for birdies and that's why wild birds don't bother them. But a friend told her she grew a papaya tree from the seed. Wonder if that tree would be good for birdies. Have to find out.
mom still hasn't put me on the window sill either to watch what's going on. Actually I don't care cause I can see out all the windows from my cage. Then I squawk and the yorkie starts barking. That really get's her in trouble - tee hee.
Mom has been trying to find a toy necklace for her so I can play with it when she is watching tv. I would rather crawl on her eye glasses and preen her eyebrows. Better run - dad is fixin supper - yum - AngelCome visit me, Well phooey - Mom is back in CA.

Angel here. Thank you so much for that help. Strange - Mom and I have done searches before on BC but didn't get that same list. We printed it out but it has a list of non-toxic and toxic plants. perfect. All I have to do now is take it to our local nursery and see if they have something or can order it. Mom may have to call the nursery in the large city and go there some day. I have a feeling this is going to take a while - then when we get the plant, mom has to figure out how to get the room needed. She says she wants to get two plants. One can be across the room or somewhere else, resting - while the other is near my cage being messed with and on and probably chewed on.

This has been a very busy day and mom hasn't had much time for me - but I'll get my snuggles when we go to bed. It's raining here again and we are wondering if it will ever stop. But when it does that means pumping city water and mom says that's spendy - and we have a large yard and garden beds.

You look like you have a very interesting life. Is that a toy box I see or all those toys in your bird cage. Mom only puts a few in my condo at a time. but wish she would change them out a little more often. And I never get over by the window - maybe mom will put me there someday and we will see.
Mom has been thinking about letting my feathers grow so I can fly to her whenever I want (although if I really want to be with her, I get down and walk). But then she changed her mind again about letting me fly. Just read another friend lost two of their birds. My mommy said that would drive her crazy and so no flying for me so she told me tonight we will have to go to the vet again. Yuk! Wish she would do it.
If you mom finds the bird talk mag with the article on plants or trees, let us know the date. maybe Mom still has her copies. She was saving them from way back but then realized with Bird Channel, they probably have all those articles in the archives (one just has to know how to search, which Mommy doesn't) Anyway, lately she has been sharing her magazine with 2 friends that have just gotten birds. She is trying to encourage them to subscribe for themselves.
Mom said she visited your state once on a very big lake. It was beautiful and the country side was breath taking but what type of winters and summers do you have?

Wow, it's like looking in a mirror except I think you have a much larger family than I do. Do you have any quirks? I hate hats and towels, and sometimes anything that Mom has in her hand. Then I bite her to make her get rid of it. Other than that I am a very sweet bird but only mom and dad handle me. Are you friendly to most everyone or only those you know well?

I know! It's raining so hard here today, mom didn't walk the dogs! Mom got Sally an olympic size pool for out back but its too big. :( So she put some bricks in it but Sally stillwon't go in. :O
Maybe if there was like stones where you could touch the bottom that might work huh? :)
I like to go swimming in my pink pool, only if the water is warm tho. Like the shower in the house without the steam. :)

I decided to delete the Photo Studio page, because I can make photos for birds even if I don't have a special page for it! Still go ahead and let me know if you want a photo done... there may be a few days delay (because we're getting a bit busy) but I should get it done!
Our training is still going really well - I just keep taking pretty big steps, like I was playing around on the bottom of the cage, only a few inches from her hand! That's pretty big of me. Ma is glad I'm doing well!
Oh yeah and I'm sorry about not being on the last few days - like I've said, we're also on DogChannel and that kinda keeps us busy, but I will try to get on here a bit more! Oh well here's a vote, gotta get going now, see you later!
