I was surrended to the Wisconsin Humane Society (where my owner volunteers in Domestics and Wildlife Rehab) because my former owners couldn't provide the necessary time I needed. I was fostered for several months and was adopted in May 2001.. Awards

Hi! My name is kiwi

I am a Blue-Fronted Amazon from Greendale, WI.

Big Bird

24 years old   M

Blue-Fronted Amazon

walnuts and craisins

On a playstand or the arm of the Lazy Boy chair when my daddy's in the chair.

When it's time for me to go back into my cage.

My owner gives me really good spray bottle showers! I dunk my face in my water bowl and wash my feet really well when she sprays me. Dunking my face in the water cleans out all those little tiny feathers from my nares. I look like a punk rocker when I'm finished! Check out the pic of my owner and the great-horned owl she rescued and released after rehabilitation. Way to go, Mom!

I like to say "It's August" or "Is August near?".

Never turn down a walnut!.

Hi everyone! Thanks to those who have voted for me- maybe I'll win one day. Thanks to you who have visited me. My mom added another pic of me, but she doesn't see it. It seemed to upload, but I don't think it was done properly. Guess she'll have to try again.

Come visit me, kiwi.
