Hey everybirdie!
Whoa man guys! Thanks for BOTD! I have been singing, talking, dancing, and cracking Mom up all day! I'm finally keeping feathers, took me a year, but I've got em! I think that's due to my diet change, lots of love, daily baths in my water bowl and warm showers, and vitamins + a stable enviroment. Abby has has some awesome new feather growth too, and she's not plucking hard core either! Her chest is still pretty naked, but like me, she's growing in the feathers on her wings and back and leaving them alone. She gets all the things I get too, and it's really helping (to anyone else with a stubborn plucker- we get zupreem fruity pellets *didn't like the Lafeber, not fruity enough!* a trail mix with dried fruits and nuts, bee pollen granuals, a couple times a week we get multigrain cheerios added, as a morning treat pieces of fruity cereal bar, and about 3 times a week fresh fruits, veggies, pasta, and birdie bread). That's helped Abby and I both gain our weight back to a healthy one and grow some feathers!
