 i wnet to a pet store one day and saw this bird they called Sassy(which is fitting of her personality). Next thing i knew i was going back every week to visit untill i could save up enough money to buy her.. |

Sidney here. Oh there are LOTS of times I'd like to be an only bird, but then it is nice to snuggle up and get preened by Orbit. I used to have a sun conure as a cage mate. I'm pretty glad that Toni moved away (got adopted) because she was a bully sometimes. I did get some great battle won though. That's why when Kiwi picked a fight with me he lost!! hahaha he's scared of me now. Won't even go near mom when I'm on her shoulder.
Mom was called to the alzheimer's home yesterday because ther was a little finch that looked really bad. When she got there there was on really sick finch who we're not sure will make it, another zebra hen that is just the favorite one the boys like and a canary who mom thinks is just molting but since it was sitting on the bottom not able to fly she thought it best to bring home. Living like that in the open and stuff mom thinks there might be just a lot of stress on the birds. And mom is trying to get them to get some stuff for the birds to have a better diet.

I'm so glad that you stopped by! Mom got me when I was a baby and Sheena the dog was here before I was. I guess we all are used to her. She doesn't bother any of us. Sheena is a shiba Inu and she is very hyperactive. She darts around the house every evening after she comes back inside after doing her business!! We love to watch her do her run through. Its actually kind of funny to watch.
As fo me talk'n, Mom started teaching me words when I 1st came here. ya just have to keep repeating words. try one at a time. Some GCC talk and others make noises. I cough every morning because when dads kids were here a few summers ago one of them got sick and had a bad cough. I started coughing like her and mom thought I was getting sick until the doc told her that birds can't cough. Mom felt kinda dumb.. lol I say alot of words and have taught the other birds a few words. Peetie only says bad bad bad or bad bad peete. He can make these cool sounds like you. He makes the cover (lid) droppin noise. He also hangs upside down and waves. Hes a pretty funny guy. Mango is a really good talker. You can watch his videos. If you can't find the video section let me know and I can tell you how to find it. If you find the videos look up Mango and all of his videos will come up. The 2 new ones just posted yesterday. They came out a bit dark because of the lighting in the back room. I gotta fly.. Its my bed time. I would stay up all night and day if mom let me.. heehe.. Hi, I'm new too.
I got here a few days ago but my picture is already old. Do you have a big cage with wheels? Do you have the feathers that let you fly? I'm still little and they cut mine down at the pet place but mom said they'll grow back. Nice to met you. ~JakCome visit me, Jak & Koi.
