Well, I was with my first family since I was just weaned, but their daughter was going to have a baby and she didn't want a birdie in the house with a baby (crazy woman...like I would do anything to a baby. They never let me out of my cage anyway!). So they called my new mommy and asked if she would like to have me. Mommy said OF COURSE! And she came and picked me up that day..

Active within 63 Days Hi! My name is Dakotah I am a Congo African Grey from Prinsburg, MN. Not yet. I'm still pretty new here 13 years old F Congo African Grey I'm a pretty good eater. If I want to try something I just ask "Are you hungry? Huh??" Mommy learned pretty quickly to let me try it if I ask. My new favorite is pasta! I really love being with my new mom! I also love to get on the floor and explore my new home. There are lots of fun stuff to play with! But mommy just took down the Christmas tree...that was fun to climb in! I don't like it when I'm talking and I'm being ignored. Seriously...I deserve more credit than that! That she lets me out of my cage! And she plays ball with me and lets me sit on her lap and watch TV with her and everything! It's really great here! I talk to myself all day long and I love to "knock" my beak on anything and everything and hear the tapping sound that it makes. "Are you hungry??".
