Thanks for flying by....I'm sorry to say that I hadn't heard that you'd flown over the Rainbow Bridge...sincere sympathy to you all. For months we'd been having computer problems so weren't on BC as often as usual, kind of got out of touch. Finally got a new laptop (the old one was almost 9 years old, guess it was time!). Just got our power back after days after the tornado, but we were one of the fortunate ones that got missed when it hit. Didn't even remember it was our Hatchday yesterday so was surprised to see BOTD. Did you get new birdies in your house? I don't remember seeing them, but then again, the memory is the 2nd thing to go...lol... Fly high, cutie...Cya...Come visit me, Maxie the WonderBird! & 10 GRAND HOF CLUB- Welcomes Screech!.

I am so sorry,
that Rio is no longer with the family. It is always so hard to lose a family member. It was a tragic accident and my mom can't imagine what you must be feeling...these things do happen in a split second.

Its just so sad and our prayers are with you and know Rio is at the rainbow bridge looking on you all hope this will help you cope some better too.
I was near you
by your bed last night; I came to have a peek. I could see that
you were crying, you found it hard to sleep. I chattered to you softly as you
brushed away a tear, "It's me, I haven't left you. I'm well. I'm fine. I'm
here." I was close to you at breakfast. I watched you pour the tea. You were
thinking of the many times your hands reached out to me. I was with you at my
grave today. You tend it with such care. I want to reassure you, that I am not
lying there. I flew with you back towards the house. As you fumbled for your
key, I gently touched you with a feather, I smiled and said, "It's me." You
looked so very tired, and sank into a chair. I tried so hard to let you know
that I was perching there. It's possible for me to be so near you everyday To
say to you with certainty, "I never went away." You sat there very quietly, and
then smiled. I think you knew In the stillness of that evening, I was very close
to you. The day is over - I smile and watch you yawning And say, "Good night,
God bless, I'll see you in the morning." And when the time is right for you to

It's Lucky.
We are so very sorry to hear that Rio has flown to the Rainbow Bridge. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
I cannot tell you whether or not to take down Rio's page but I will tell you that when our little Chilli and our dear sweet Sunny flew to the Rainbow Bridge, dad chose to leave their pages up as a memorial to their memory. As long as their pages are seen, they will never be forgotton.

A lot has happened within a few months that prevented us from being on BC. Things are getting back to normal slowly so hopefully we will be around for a while.

Can you to vote for us extinct and escaped birds? Because we were not getting visited very often, and are feeling lonely and mistreated. Specifically, the extinct birdies were feeling forgotten, like many extinct birds really are, and the escaped birds, admittingly, are too far from home to know about it, but it's nice to leave them a vote anyway. The extinct birds were really jelouse of the abused ones and the bridge of rainbows, and they even had a plan to get back at them. The only way to stop them is to give them votes. We are so sad that your brother, Quill flew to the Rainbow Bridge. Of course, we're still friends. It's so sad to loose a birdy friend. Our sister, Chilli, flew the the Rainbow Bridge last October. We still love her and miss her very much.
