What a day! I hardly had the sleep out of my eyes this morning when mom came in and was making all these squealy human noises (you know what I mean) and smiling and all excited as she told me that I had won botd! What a surprise! She gave me some nutriberries and let me put it this way, I was awake in a hurry! LOL! I got slamdunked 2 days in a row! Wow! And a nice day in the castle, too! Thank you for congratulating me for botd:) What a nice surprise today was;) My crop is just bulging from the millet and goodies, but I am loving it!

Please forgive us for not coming by sooner. Mommy couldn't bear to face Huey's page. Even now, 10 days later she still can hardly type for the tears in her eyes. As I'm sure you know, our precious Huey is now at the Rainbow Bridge. He had a heart attack before surgery even started. We are beyond devastated and we miss him so much. Mommy wonders if her heart will ever be whole again and she tries to think what she could have done differently. We all tell her that she did everything right and everything that could be done, but she still wonders. It was so unexpected. He was doing so well...he was such a fighter. The poor little guy went through so much but now he has no pain and two good wings and two good legs. He's been back to visit Mommy a couple of times and he says to tell everybirdie on BC thank you for taking such good care of the rest of the flock. He's so sorry that he had to leave without saying goodbye but he wants you all to know how much he loves you and that he's sending special love to you. Mommy says that we will try and be on the BC more too. There are a couple of beautiful videos on facebook of Huey if you would like to see them. We just got back to shore. I know Angel Baby was guiding the ship with Angel Divo helping. We never saw Trillian, but BJ and I were in the crow's nest together most of the time.
