Hi Kanoah
Makana here. Great name for sure. Mom nearly named me Aydan which means Little Fire. But she had 3 names chosen and since I came into the adopt a bird program with no name she asked the other fosters which name they preferred and they all chose my name. Mom isn't one for just everyday names if she can help it. Kiwi came with his name and dad wanted to keep it. Dad chose Sophie's name too. Sidney and Orbit came with their names and since Sid had had her name for 12yrs....well, And Orbit his name for 6yrs. So they kept theirs. Besides they aren't your average names. hehehe Punkin just fell into it. She's an orange weaver finch and the males are yellow orange-red orange in color so it fit that way too.
Well, winter returns. UGH! At least I don't have to be out in it still. No real weather just cold! Okay, not REAL cold either, but from the 50s-60s we've been having to the 40s is cold. And yesterdays cold wind was awful! Mom said it did dry the clothes fast, but we birds sure hated it.
