This is one of the sadest stories you will ever hear. It is truly heart wrenching. Tweety is the one who knows more then I could ever tell. If I were Tweety, this is how I would tell it.
It was in the fall. I loved in a nice house. For some reason I have yet to try to understand, I was thrown out in the corner of a garage in the cold. i was in a parakeet cage. A cat had gotten me and I lost all of my tail feathers. An elderly lady who lived next door heard me screaching. She looked for me but did not find me until a day later. I was cold and hungry. She took me to Pet Co where I could get the attention I needed. I regressed so I had to be hand fed for about a month. My mom's name was at all the pet stores and the pound for any birds in need of a home or placement for a home. She came in and saw me. I didn't have my tail feathers all the way in, but she took me home and I have a forever home in a large cage with lots of love and toys to play with when ever I want. My Dad keeps it 78 degrees for us. Now I am warm and I am learning to trust humans again. I was left for dead and so are so many others If you can make a home for someone like me, every birdie would have a forever home.

Hi! My name is Tweety-Bird

I am a Cockatiel from Rochester, MN.

Tweeters and Tweety-Pie

19 years old   F

Cockatiel

She likes a little piece of bread once in awhile.

She likes to play with the other birds who are her size on the birdgym or she likes to sit on her many perches in her cage.

She doesn't like men very well. She is not one who likes to be held a lot.

I love my mom and dad because they keep me safe and warm. They love me and let me express myself by being as loud as I want.
Thank you for reading my story. Don't worry Buddy's mom, I'm in a loving forever hom now.

She dances back and fourth when she wants me to come and be with her..

Love on the wing of a hopeless bird.

  Howdy Tweety!
I wanted to tell you that I am so happy for you. My mom use to hand raise cockatiels. I know she thought it was awful how those people treated you. I am so glad that you found someone to love you. My mommy doesn't always keep it real warm in our house so she bought me a warming perch. Oh boy do I love it. Mom says she feels bad that she can't keep it warmer in our house but I live in the livingroom. She figured my warming perch would be a happy medium and I could give her kisses for it. My poor lil' tootsies get cold in the winter months and I love to sit on my warming perch and warm them. It feels so good. Anyway, I am so very glad you found such a wonderful mom and dad.

Come visit me, Echo, Tootles, Kiwi & Moose E. Moose.

  Good going
My goodness, your parents are so wonderful, my Mom would take in any birds that need her love and a home. She had a hamster, nicest most adorable hamster, he died of old age, but someone threw him at the dogs I guess anyway Rosie the beagle came running in with something in her mouth, Moms mother hollered for her which caused the dog to drop it, grandma picked it up in a hurry and it was a golden hamster. Some people are cruel but we will always help animals and birds, Mom wants to be a zoologist. I cant write to all your flock since there is what 19 but tell your Mom and Dad they are fantastic people.

Come visit me, Babycakes, Snigglefritz, Pumpkin, HALDIR AND PINK LADY, Sparkle and I am lost, escaped my cage, Shadow & Shannigans.
