 Well, this is kind of a long story...we went to the pet store to buy an algae eater for our aquarium. The store had an open aviary where customers could interact with the birds. As soon as my husband walked up to it, Cappie immediately ran across the pen, up his arm and onto his shoulder. 3 hours later he talked me into buying a bird. Yes, our very first bird was a Blue and Gold Macaw! We put down a deposit and I started doing research on the species. Two weeks later we had a new member of the family. Two years later she is a constant source of joy and the topic of many comical anecdotes.. |

Hi Cappie!
Today, mommy had to go to school, so I didn't see her much. When she came home, she gave me fresh food and water. Weather here was beautiful all day, but tonight and all through Friday afternoon, it's supposed to be a constalt down pour. Our basement usually floods out when we get a lot of rain like this. -_- Well, I have to go right now. Bye!! ♥ Lola

Thanks for checking with your Dad about some work for my Dad. Anyway the new cage I got is 64W X 32D x 71H. It is huge. Hopefully he is going to take some pictures of the new cage and toys and post them in the next couple of days. Have your Dad give my Dad an email sometime. bfw4@att.net

I left you a vote. Also, wanted to say yes to your question. My Dad is a pipeliner as well. According to him he is an Office Manager / Project Coordinatior. But he has been laid off since November. Maybe you could help him out? Anyway, enough about him. He did buy me a new cage yesterday, Saturday. It is huge. Twice the size of my old one yet. Not to sure about it yet, it is a bit intimidating. But I am sure that I will get used to it in a week or so. Also, he got a bunch of new toys. I think this is his way saying sorry for taking me to the vet this past Thursday. You know the routine. Wings clipped, nail and beak trim, then the standard wellness check from the doctor. I don't mind to much cause he always gets me something new after I go. Look forward to hearing from you soon.
